Does anyone know, is it true, that George W. Bush wears a replica of the One ring, as this article mentions ?

I have seen one picture that made the focus an at least similar ring. I'll never find it again of course.

I skimmed the article for points, details are irrelevant really because I would not recognize it now. But whatever the slant of the author the article seems to express the belief that art imitates life. As far as being a secret teaching tool, I am not so sure.

Whatever the case this is symbolism. Various politicians have made hand signs on camera which indicate membership in some organisation, but the intent of these organisations is not clearly known or understood. The general intent of any organisation is that of gang mentality, but that can be lifted to the high road as well as the low. Some bet on the former and others bet on the latter.

I also agree that witchcraft, if true at all, has no good or evil side. I consider these things to be concepts in the mind, and therefore subjective in and by nature.

If, however, you are looking more at the artistic aspect, there is art to be found in many places. Modern currency and coinage are even examples.

Why are you reading this website?

quote:

I can say most assuredly that The Lord of the Rings trilogy comes from the pits of hell and is a clever instructional course in witchcraft disguised as fantasy and entertainment. Part one was released in movie form on December 19, 2001, shortly after the two towers of the World Trade Center came down. It was called “The Fellowship of the Ring.” Part two was called “The Two Towers” and was released December 18, 2002. Part three is named “The Return of the King” and was released December 17, 2003, and is breaking all records for ticket sales. All three movies were released at the time of the witchcraft sabat of Yule!

Not all Christians are mythology monopolists like this loser.

Another on Harry Potter:

quote:

At this occult school, Harry Potter learns how to obtain and use witchcraft equipment. Harry also learns a new vocabulary, including words such as "Azkaban", "Circe", "Draco", "Erised", "Hermes", and "Slytherin"; all of which are names of real devils or demons. These are not characters of fiction!

I don't know Bush's actually wearing the ring or not. The 'ring' appears to symbolize unfettered capitalism, so, why not? Makes sense.

Yes, but it is in fact a cockring. That part gets left out.

If Dubya had a replica of the "One Ring" would that mean Cheney was Gollum?

Gollum had a bit of pathos to him; there was a layer of humanity deep inside him still.

so, no, the better fit would be Saruman, who was both evil and duplicitous.

Greetings..

I do not think the article is true. What I believe is true is that both Bush's are members of the freemasons and that is the ring insignia they possess.

LOL.  Well, you beat me to the cock ring comment in the first place, and this was the best I could Google in 60 seconds.  Perhaps a little digging and I could find that for you....but would you REALLY want to see it?  Heh.

Not sure what this means but this to I believe is not true. Jack had flare, and that was clearly lacking in GWB.

"Flare" is a bad thing in a politician, you can see how far "flare" has gotten us with Barry.

And one of the JtR theories is that it was a, or a group of, Freemasons

First you'd have to believe Obama had it. I personally don't. Next off the op thread topic?

If he had a replica of the one ring it was probably one of the souvenir rings that were sold all over the place after the movie came out. And if  he wore it was because he was having a laugh. That article seems like the rantings of a lunatic to me.

Laugh now but when Bush becomes a Nazgul and joins the Lord of Mordor in assaulting Gondor, then we'll see who has the last laugh!

That shit would sure come as a surprise to Tolkien. He was a Christian apologist and a friend of C. S. Lewis.
