The following statement was made in a different thread:
Gor is absolutely about the order of nature. All of it. How our society reflects and doesn't reflect this; how another societal structure might do so better.
I admit, that came as a shock to me. I had heard of talk of the natural order, or in this case phrased, the order of nature. I also recognise that is likely the most significant portion of Gor. On the other hand, I find it hard to imagine that there is nothing else to Gor than the order of nature. Somehow I had the impression that Gor contained more than one theme.
To me, to say that Gor is only about the order of nature, is akin to saying "Animal Farm" is only about Communists being Capitalist pigs, or that "Lord of the Flies" is only about children running wild without adult supervision. Surely there is more?
But perhaps, I am being ignorant. Perhaps my understanding of what is meant by "the order of nature" is too narrow, that I do not fully recognise all that it encompasses. If that is the case, please see it fit to enlighten me.
