Mother Nature is a little drunk right now this is why it is snowing in south Texas for the second time in a year . She is just laughing her ass off at everyone who can't drive in normal weather much less snow .

This is a Taoist/Zen thing, but I think it will appeal to Goreans--

I try to life each moment as if I had chosen it, in every detail.

What I like about this is that I pay attention and see the bigger picture. It also reinforces responsibility, for our choices do contribute heavily toward where we are and what we're doing.

And with that responsibility, the ability to respond, the power to work with the reality of a situation to control and manage it effectively.

Today, that means I'm going skiing first, then back to work.

I wouldn't say that Mother Nature is PMS'ing, I would say that she has a great sense of humor, after all she is sitting sending snow to places that it never snows (until recently) or snows very little and watching all those people trying to drive in a condition that they don't have a clue of how to drive in or forgot how (if they are a transplant from someplace where it has snow yearly). We would be laughing as we watch people skidding around in the snow, but of course it does cease to be funny when someone is seriously hurt or killed for I don't find any humor in that.

Just gotta love Mother Nature with her pranks.

Greetings A/all -

No snow here on the coast but we are getting ready for round 2 of a big winter rain storm. An F/A-18 Hornet military fighter jet flew over on the way to the airport earlier today and at first I thought it was thunder. The hill and mountain areas that were burned in the summer turn into mud slides in the winter.

California has 4 seasons: fires, floods, droughts and earthquakes.

Stay warm and dry folks.
