i can see i touched a couple of nerves which i totally didn't mean to do. i was just explaining that for me, personally, there are waaaaaaay too many appealing options out there for me to limit myself to one guy, even if i have good intentions and even if i tell him that i will. i think the op is lucky the girl using him for a boy toy is honest and upfront about it. personally, i know i'm not always so honest and then sometimes someone gets hurt even if that isn't the way i intend for it to go.

How do you know he is being used as a boy toy? He never mentioned such.

If you are not honest, then you can hardly pretend to care when people's feelings are hurt. Be honest with them so they can make their own choices

If you are incapable of limiting yourself, that's fine and dandy. I'm all for sleeping around and doing what you want. But don't pretend it's ok for you to be dishonest and that those are honest are amazing and special. That's beyond lacking in basic courtesy - it's being extremely dishonest and manipulative. When you are not honest with a person you are being sexual with, you are making it impossible for them to make an informed decision regarding their own sexual health.

I was lucky enough to come by that realization early... right about the time that I saw how many more books in the library there were to read. Yeah, I was a library dork as a kid... could've only been more typical if I needed glasses.

Personally, I'd get bored if I knew everything. In about, oh... eight tenths of a second.

LOL - I know what you mean. I don't recall thinking I know everything but I've definately had moments where I thought I knew more than I did because I didn't know enough about how other people do things. There are days I really wish I could delete my first years on the boards...

Nowadays, I find myself surprised at the fact that people think I know things and give reliable advice! If only because, in the back of my head, I'm thinking "Dude... if you knew that I just spent thirty minutes chirping 'dook' at my owner while pretending to be a ferret, would you really be asking me this question?".
