I saw one where they took a hot dog out of the microwave, put it in a warm wrap, went outside, dropped it, it was frozen solid before hitting the ground.

The exploding water is wild too. If it's -20F or colder, hot water will explode if thrown into the air. Wild at -100.

No wonder they are always looking for volunteers...

I lived in Fargo ND for 5 yrs wind chills of minus 70 and actual winter temps of 40-50 below. I moved but thanks to global warming and colder than adverage winters the cold seems to be following me.

Only one thing can make weather like that tolerable - having a hot blooded woman to warm your bed.

If a hot blooded woman isn't handy, a bottle of Yukon Jack is the next best thing.

"The Sirius Patrol" is just 2 guys on a dogsleigh patrolling the East Greenland coastline. One trip is 2500 km and there is allways a patrol on the way. Believe it or not, but they have so many applicants that they can pick and choose.
