What you forget here is the why. Why would being sexual take away one's dignity and why would being covered up and hiding one's sexuality give dignity? I do not feel any more or less dignified by wearing much or wearing little. Now like I said if one want to emulate the books then I understand a reaction to seeking a light clad free woman, however if one is like Bondsmaid talking about female Dominants there is absolutely no indication that a woman is submissive even if she chooses to wear little clothing and be sexual.
