Sometimes when i orgasm, it's so intense that, not only do i get light-headed and all, i will pass out and come to again later on. Is it harmful? All i can think is, it's because the blood is going "elsewhere for other purposes.........." ~kitten~

Disclaimer - check with your doctor - but you don't seem brain damaged, and if you lie flat when you pass out, I wouldn't think there would be any permanent damage.

hahahaha No, kiwi, i am not brain-damaged, not at all. i was mostly just wondering why that would happen. i guess i should ask my doctor.....i'm just a little shy about that. lol ~kitten~

Because he's that darn good??? [:D] It's not dangerous I wouldn't think, though if you start having similar reactions to other physically stressful activities, you might want to check into it. Passing out can be a symptom of heart issues among other things. Most likely though is that you are getting such yummy pleasure that your brain can't handle the overload and goes to sleep for a little bit. Nothing to worry about there! Just be grateful and quit being such a huzzy and flaunting it! LOL hugs lovingpet

Are you on any medications ? This could be related to a side effect . Either way, i'd ask the doctor. imho, being lighted headed, forgetting English, or clumsy post rush are normal, but losing conscienceness is a tad concerning. So make an appointment, you huzzy. And make someone happy by showing him this thread [;)]

A perfectly healthy person should not pass out from an orgasm unless your hyperventilating. If you can think at all while it's happening you may want to check your breathing. However, you should tell your doctor as it could be a sign of several medical issues that are sneaking up on you. No need to be shy with the doctor about orgasms. I bet they have them to :-)

It's really weird, but i'll get tingly all over my body, lightheaded & spacey, i'll feel more and more amazing (of course), and then i'll go unconscious. So then i'll either have to make myself stop the orgasm before it's really finished, or else keep going and lose consciousness. i will come to again shortly,though. FelineFae, i do take meds, but i don't lose consciousness from anything else but orgasms. Come to think of it, i never lost consciousness from orgasms until i met Him. lol GraciousLady, yes, i do hyperventilate when i'm cumming. Maybe that's it. Wow. No it isn't completely "normal" but it isn't completely "abnormal" either. As others have said, it could be indicative of a physcial issue, so... Does it happen EVERY time he brings you to orgasm? Do you ALWAYS hyperventilate? How long is a "short while?" One of the most common causes could be your blood pressure. Am I remembering correctly that when we were talking about my high blood pressure, you mentioned that yours is typically low? That could be the cause. In any case, I know you see your doctor regularly for your medications and you might want to mention it to him. While it could be a little embarassing, it is more likely to make him jealous since his wife probably doesn't faint from his sexual overtures, lol. But better safe than sorry, so mention it at your next appointment and if your partner doesn't know how, teach him how to check your pulse and heart rate when you are passed out. It could give you a clue to what the cause is.
