Anyway, back to the topic... There are any number of ways people feel that they are required to submit in order to save their lives. To compare the book in the OP with wiitwd is like (frankly) comparing assault to sparring in a dojo.

If we´re going to do this whole fantasy thing... Isn´t there a genie in those stories as well? I want a genie that will give me the perfect Dom, who can read my mind and do everything perfectly... who wants what I want to give, who does what I need.... I´m going to my happy place now....

I want a genie, for the sole purpose of mowing the yard and doing laundry. My allergies kick into high gear when I attempt either.

As for the fantasy world of rich emperors enslaving poor young beauties, this would make for some really hot play!
