i did not mean to imply the separation of the two - i said one "could see" his works as supporting Gorean philosophy. But honestly i think it is best understood as a complete body of works including the man. i do appreciate his works a great deal, while as a person he was a very troubled man. And the two should be taken together in my opinion if one is forming a philosophical point of view. Again though, if it supports someone's spiritual development to consider such things, i have no issue with it.
