Ballbusing is one of my limits because I want to start a family some day and don't want to take any chances.  Also I only have one testicle.  Anyways, how much ballbusting can a normal person take before they become sterile/infertile?  I've seen videos where I can't imagine the person having kids after that one video.  For the mistresses that participate in ballbusting, what do you think with regards to the long term damage you are doing?

It would seem to me that this would be a better question to ask your doctor as he is much more familiar with YOUR particular anatomy.  However, should you choose noy to do that, if you use the search link (upper right corner of your screen right under login when in forums) there have been many threads on ballbusting that might be helpful.

I'm not planning on doing it.  I was just curious if the people here that have experience in doing it have any knowledge on the subject.

I'm not huge on catering to your fantasies.  Alt is two websites down on the left.  AFF can be found just down the way from there.

Looking for wank material....

I LOVE doing CBT, ball-busting, hobbling...and even make a cbt device!
Baggy or saggy they look great in my vice!

I share similar concerns about long-term injury and do not seek this activity. It might be a whole different story once I am done having kids ;-)

I am not sure how much reliable data there is in the medical community about intense trauma to the testicles. I imagine there might be data from sports medicine or accidents.

There are forms of kicking that are less intense. Some (kicks from behind) deliver the primary impact with the instep on the buttocks with secondary contact against the scrotum. There might also be showmanship in some of what you see. I once saw intense kicking in a fetish show but it turned out the guy was wearing an athletic guard under his pants. Indeed there are instances where the sub is naked and there is no guard.

There are certainly instances of irresponsible play without thought about safety or consequences. Just this weekend I heard of an account of a domme who kicked an experienced CBT player. It may have been her first time--I am unsure but know she is new to BDSM in general. She delivered a hard kick with the toe of her boot. I was told that the man had blood in his urine shortly thereafter and left to receive medical care after letting one of the event organizers know what had happened. It is a second hand account but a believable one.

While there are countless threads that seek wank material, I sense this one does not and I am willing to give the benefit of doubt. I think the thread raises a good question: how should a sub gauge how knowledgeable and responsible is the dominant in question. And , what thoughts about safety and responsibility do have dommes who engage in this particular type of play--how did they go about finding out how far they can go?

If someone knowledgeable in this technique responds, it would answer the OPs question and let someone new know how to go about learning this technique.

Cheers,

Sea

He already said he is not interested in learning the technique, just wants to know if those of us that kick know how. Well, if he ever negotiates a scene with one of us, that can be on his question list.

Nothing is wrong with a little CBT from time to time...
Just go to someone who KNOWS how to do it.

Given you have only one testicle you are probably wise not to do it - unless it was very mild.

There is always some risk ... for some of us that adds to the excitement.

I have been kicked by an experienced domme wearing steel toed boots - it was excrutiating in pain and the swelling and bruising laste several week - but it was also wonderful edge play.  She took great care to make sure I was positioned correctly and I can tell you I suffered no lasting damage other than an addiction for more.
I am a dom by the way but love incorporating this into play to satisfy my masochism

Lots of play is edge play ... you just have to be smart in deciding where you edges are!

When I worked full time as a pro Mistress I had limits. One of those limits was ball busting, it still is.
A kick to the testicles can cause anything from a small bruise to an internal or external rupture. The testicles are very fragile and have no bones or muscles to protect them.
A slight blow from a pointy shoe is less harmful than a slight blow from a hobnail boot but I'm not going to risk it.
No matter how proficient one is at CBT, ball busting can not be monitored and therefore we can only hope that we don't do permanent damage.
I hate watching it, I hate the expression on a woman's face when she does it and I wouldn't touch a male sub with a ten foot bargepole if he told me he wanted some ball busting.

hardtotouch -> RE: Ballbusting and permanent damage (6/18/2010 2:42:10 PM)

The beauty of BDSM is that there are so many varieties to choose from - so people can make their own informed choices as to areas of play.

To add some perspective amongst sports regarded as high risk for testicular injury - rugby (league and union), where cups are not routinely used (unlike american football, hockey etc) the incidence of needed medical treatment for testicular injury is less than 0.1% of all injuries.  If you ever watch these sports you will note somebody generally gets knackered every game. In contrast risk of some vision loss is 7% of all injuries - so eye balls are more vulnerable that testicles!

Although the testicles do not have muscle or bone - provided the scrotum is not tight - they are designed to move and can take considerable force -  a high risk factor is if they get caught between a hard object and the pelvic bone - so a knee for example can be more high risk than a kick from behind.

It all comes down to personal choice - personally I feel informed enough to risk losing a testicle to indulge in that play ... but if you poke me in the eye I will break your arm off!
