Ah, thank you for the post skinlover. Yes there are ups and downs, pro's and con's, but then again you get those no matter what, where, when, in life.

Finally someone answers the question, right to the point Benedict.

new blood often would fall on the ground at a gorean's feet, There is a reason Stranger and enemy mean the same to a gorean..

The third rider placed himself, reining in suddenly, pulling the mount to its hind legs, and it reared snarling against the bit, and then stood still, its neck straining toward me. I could see the long, triangular tongue in the animal’s head, behind the four rows of fangs. The rider, too, wore a wind scarf. His shield was red. The Blood People, the Kassars. Maybe to You any quote from the books would be meaningless?

Really I was thinking more of the sene/saga Tarl Cabot was in the plains and met the wagons people riders... but posted that quote of it being available to me to do so without having to type from the book the 2 0r 3 pages of the saga, but maybe I should have as some on this forum would had at least read 2 or 3 pages of at least one of the books..

"I pray the lance will fall to Me.." some where in those pages.. you'll find it just read em!!!!..

Be well
Robert

Well, having read 23 of them many times over (I freely admit to not having purchased the last few), I do know the BOOKS (Yes, they are BOOKS, not scrolls nor sagas).  My point is this...what does lying on the ground, looking up at an acid induced hallucination of a lizard have to do with the original question on this thread, which has to do with living or not living in a community run fully on Gorean practices here on Earth?

According to the cover it is a saga (not "sagas" no need to pluralize since it's all one story). Which yeah, sounds sort of ridiculous, but who am I to judge? XDXDXD

I will accept your point, I have older copies, which don't have covers like that.

Greetings again John

the (in reply to skinlover) that is not for some reason carried over to a quote by people maybe would help in the manner of answer part of your question.

Second if Your stating the John Lange was "lying on the ground, looking up at an acid induced hallucination of a lizard" when he was writing the sene/saga or quote I was speaking of I can only stand in awe of that statment!!!

as for the OP Question of this thread Yes there is Real Life Gorean Communities, I was apart of a rather big one in OR that also had homes in Washington and California about 10 years ago and I was apart of it for about 2 years until My father was ill and I had to return here to where I grew up.. in the time that I have been back I have kept in contact with the ones who where the closest to Me.. the bonds of friendship and love I made where for life..

Greetings, Master,

girl understands Your point but there is no guarantee that a Master will be so kind as to allow his slave to be clothed when serving dinner. If He should decide otherwise, girl would have no choice but to obey. This puts girl in a position to cause great distress to her family members or disobey her Master. A very stressful situation to be in for anyone.

girl has come to the realization long ago, that the only way a girl can be a kajira in all aspects is to have no regard at all for her God, her family, her friends or any pets she has in her care. This sounds extreme but being that she has no rights or say so in anything, her Master decides what occurs with these entities in her life.

girl would have to be prepared and ready, at a moment's notice, to immediately be able to walk away from any of them if her Master deems it to be so.

Thus, girl is not Owned.

Respectfully ~ phoenix

Greetings Pasch,

To speak plainly, your final statement indicates you have decided to not place yourself in such a situation, a situation where you must/might be required to walk away from your family members in order to be a kajira in all aspects. Therefore, it is your choice to be "not Owned" for this reason.

As a follow on to that, do you feel this belief would be a key hindrance to your participating in developing a "real life" gorean home as well as a "real life" gorean community?

Be well,
Arturas

So you think that novels, works of fiction, are just reportings of someone's actual life?  I am still waiting for some shred of connection between your quote and the OP.

Heh.

I've got to admit. I've grown fond of this place.

It's like a bad novel, just when you thought it couldn't get any weirder...

hello everyone

I am back with questions, i need to know why , why must the women be "sluts" ? Are they mother's aunt's or sisters? Are they a group only to pleasure the men?  Which is it ?  Are they precious as the other women of the group?  I do not intend to insult in any manner at all, i just wanted to ask this this question!  They may be as precious as the others and i have been mistaken then!  Oh wait i call  my men sluts and it is endearing as ever!  I see now and i withdraw my question!  But i will let it go so it can be seen as i saw it!  In the wrong manner!
