ORIGINAL: Dinnardin quote:
ORIGINAL: MAWarGod new blood often would fall on the ground at a gorean's feet, There is a reason Stranger and enemy mean the same to a gorean.. The third rider placed himself, reining in suddenly, pulling the mount to its hind legs, and it reared snarling against the bit, and then stood still, its neck straining toward me. I could see the long, triangular tongue in the animal’s head, behind the four rows of fangs. The rider, too, wore a wind scarf. His shield was red. The Blood People, the Kassars. NOMADS OF GOR-; 4; Page 14 You are truly a font of meaningless irrelevant quotes Dinnardin Maybe to You any quote from the books would be meaningless? Really I was thinking more of the sene/saga Tarl Cabot was in the plains and met the wagons people riders... but posted that quote of it being available to me to do so without having to type from the book the 2 0r 3 pages of the saga, but maybe I should have as some on this forum would had at least read 2 or 3 pages of at least one of the books.. "I pray the lance will fall to Me.." some where in those pages.. you'll find it just read em!!!!.. Be well Robert quote:
Well, having read 23 of them many times over (I freely admit to not having purchased the last few), I do know the BOOKS (Yes, they are BOOKS, not scrolls nor sagas). My point is this...what does lying on the ground, looking up at an acid induced hallucination of a lizard have to do with the original question on this thread, which has to do with living or not living in a community run fully on Gorean practices here on Earth? John, AKA Dinnardin Greetings again John the (in reply to skinlover) that is not for some reason carried over to a quote by people maybe would help in the manner of answer part of your question. Second if Your stating the John Lange was "lying on the ground, looking up at an acid induced hallucination of a lizard" when he was writing the sene/saga or quote I was speaking of I can only stand in awe of that statment!!! as for the OP Question of this thread Yes there is Real Life Gorean Communities, I was apart of a rather big one in OR that also had homes in Washington and California about 10 years ago and I was apart of it for about 2 years until My father was ill and I had to return here to where I grew up.. in the time that I have been back I have kept in contact with the ones who where the closest to Me.. the bonds of friendship and love I made where for life..
