I have... at Birthdaypalooza 2009. The man who did it goes all over teaching his craft, and DB knew that I had been drooling over his whip scenes for 4 years. He saw this lovely man at the club the night of my party and asked if he would like to have me for his target for a while. He smiled and agreed, and I melted. Myth busting time:

Bullwhips need more space than other kinds of whips: FALSE. Whips are distinguished by their construction not their length. I've seen and used/cracked bullwhips as short as 3 ft and as long as 26 ft. The rigid handle that maintains it's braid through the thong of the whip is what distinguishes a bullwhip from a snake whip, a signal whip, etc.

Bullwhips hurt more than other kinds of whips: FALSE. As a bottom the sensation you feel when a whip is "cracked" on your skin changes due to the material of the cracker and the person throwing the whip. It has very little to do with the whip itself unless you're doing purposeful wrapping-which is also tons o' fun!

This! I was bullwhipped for the first time recently and was actually surprised by how manageable the pain was. It wasn't at all as severe as some of canings I've had more often recently, and didn't do the damage I would have expected, so I'm thinking it's very much a "your mileage may vary" implement.

Yes, people often think a bullwhip is a much nastier *weapon* than a snake or signal whip and also think that they are very long. Any whip can hurt like nothing on earth depending on how it's used, and a bullwhip is just as capable of tickling you as any other.
