That was my first thought as well. I had initially thought that the group was about BDSMers recovering FROM the lifestyle.

But it's not. It's about people who are in the lifestyle, who are recovering from substance issues. In other words, an AA or Narcotics Anonymous chapter where all the members are kinksters.

As to reporting, I get what the person is saying. It really is a scene related link and it probably does go there.

On the topic, there actually is an upswing of 12 step recovery meetings happening at multiple day events. These can be separate from the event itself and may not be listed on the official program. It's a very positive thing for those who wish to participate. It allows people to be active in both of their "lifestyles" at once.
