I am not sure if this is the right place to post this, but here is the deal: I'm 51, tall, slender, attractive and single in the LA area. Dom in nature, but not hardcore. I am a professional travel writer and travel nearly every weekend. Alone. That gets old.

I'm planning a trip to San Francisco within the next few weeks to a month. Brand new car, a luxury hotel, some special excursions, fancy restaurants, and the usual tourist things. On my dime, of course.

Welcome to the forums. Just what every submissive is looking for, to meet a total stranger for 3 days of everything you described above. Yeah, that'll go over well. I doubt you'll find a woman like that on this side of CM, although stranger things have been known to happen.

As was suggested above, post it on the other side. Or plan on attending a munch when you're where you're going. Google is your friend. At least you'll meet some people and perhaps makes some new friends in the area.

OK, let me be clear. Im sorry if I offended anyone. Certainly not my intent at all. I'm just a single nice guy, who travels a lot, is tired of traveling alone, and would love to meet someone to share it with. Someone adventurous would be great, and correct me if Im wrong, but isn't adventurous the name of the game here? Im frankly kinda startled at the offers I see here, ("Let me beat you for no reason," Please beat me for no reason,: etc...) and I was offering none of that. Just something fun, and maybe exciting.

Im not some weird, fat, bearded closet dom who lives with his mom, plays Warcraft all day at work, and expects you to call him "Sir" online. I'm not in the scene, dont go to socials, don't go to renaissance faires,or munches. It's just not my style. Im musical, fun, funny, educated, with no emotional baggage to check, not even carry-on. (I dont post my picture online anywhere, since Im active in my neighborhood, and well, we know how that can go. But I am happy to send one, if asked.)

OP, let me make a suggestion.  You sound like quite a catch for a woman.  But you're offering the wrong thing... If you offer a full relationship that will include a weekend trip, that's great.  But if it's only going to be a weekend fling, then she'll wonder what your living situation is back home.

I do realize you did not mean to offend. The problem is your attitude DID offend. Everyone works hard and I detest when someone says they won't make promises they can't keep. That is what abusive men usually say, I told you I was asshole, that kind of thing.

But that's OK, you're entitled to your opinion. I don't know you. ;-) As for paying, I never have and dont plan on beginning. I'm surprised any woman would ever suggest that, but again, I don't know you.

Be that as it may, life is short and beautiful and anything can happen. Again, I apologize to anyone who thought I was being crass or insulting. That is not my way.

For now, we are all just words on a screen, machines talking to each other across the ether. I dont take any of this personally. I thought perhaps I could persuade someone out from in front of their computers, and something good could happen in the real world. One never knows.

Im not married, dont have kids, I've read The World According to Garp, and I have no commitments that keep me anywhere. And good luck with that, it's not like you are coming across as a total loser or anything. You are entitled to look for what you want, and "if" I were young and naive, and of course local to you, it might be fun.

I am a bit nostalgic now, since it's been a DAMN long time since mindless adventures with total strangers even interested me. Welcome to the forums and good luck on your search. I hope you find your weekend playmate. I dont think you are the ONLY man to ever look for such a thing, infact I have known my share of women who would enjoy this type of offer in my life. I think you are just more honest than many.
