Br33dMast3r -> Gorean Master seeking once-in-a-lifetime (11/18/2010 9:08:11 PM)

Just reading the books doesn't make one a Master, but I have read many of them and enjoy the concepts. It's interesting that MANY of the Gor concepts coincide with the 50s farm lifestyle I grew up in!

I've been Dom my entire life. I was expected to be an alpha male from birth. I remember being in a crib and being lectured on how I would be successful. They were right, of course, but it's an odd memory. They also built-in some behavior that I had to overcome to continue being successful. The religion of my birth family enforced a culture of behavior that worked in their church, but not universally. In particular, I was too honest and naive when I was young. That changed fast.

At about the mid-twenties I identified as a Master, and set about making sure that I qualified as such. I'm long past the point of questioning my ability or worrying about my capacity these days. Being a Master is a lot more than just knowing the books, it's an attitude, a skill set, and even a business.

I've had two gorean slaves, and a gorean switch. I won't argue the definitions or disclose the people, but suffice to say that those situations, while fun and worthwhile, were not permanent. I've noted that many such situations are NOT permanent. That is what I seek, the rare gem, the silk who knows her place, the one who wishes fervently for a lifetime of ownership.

Lots of Masters seem to be looking for this, but I see little in the way of facility for providing for it. This Master is a home owner, a real estate broker, and owns a corporation. I don't want purse-silks who are into this for the support or for the money, so I will not disclose my exact income. Let it be known simply that it is ample.

Finding the three I've already had was no less than a grueling, tedious process for me. I don't look forward to going through it again. To this end, I want to simplify things by advertising. I've got ads in various appropriate places. I won't respond to critics or quests, jests, or spurious inquiries. Serious only need apply. Other Gor Masters may write if they seek cooperation, union, power, and personal growth. If you just want to bitch, go right ahead, but a response will probably not be forthcoming.

I *do* share, and I *do* require "no limits." I know other Masters have their own rules. These are mine. On Gor, I'd have a temple or a silk house, and I'd probably have the best Pizza and Beer on the continent. :)

The name I've chosen on CM indicates several of my proclivities. I should imagine that this is obvious enough and doesn't require explaining if you've read ANY Gor novel.

Required:
Female by birth
No limits
Lifetime commitment

Gained:
retirement
medical
safety
actually living a Gorean life on Earth

This might go better in the Introductions forum.

Br33dMast3r -> RE: Gorean Master seeking once-in-a-lifetime (11/18/2010 9:54:24 PM)

If it's better suited to a different forum, by all means move it. However, I won't return to forums that my posts are removed from.

SpiritedRadiance -> RE: Gorean Master seeking once-in-a-lifetime (11/18/2010 10:50:11 PM)

Not removed, but moved. While this is a place for like minded people who enjoy the gorean community, its not place to post personal ads, that is for the other side of the site that gives you a profile and all that other magic.

Second Introductions are for people just comming to this side of the website and its a way like above to say hey...

Lastly, because this is not the intro forum, it doesnt matter how ample your salary... Your way to boastful about yourself for your own good.

let the slaughter begin * sits back and roasts marshmellows*

Br33dMast3r -> RE: Gorean Master seeking once-in-a-lifetime (11/19/2010 2:39:18 AM)

Wow, such a friendly crowd! My thanks for moving a non-introduction thread into an introduction forum, I guess?

I'm sure for some people, moving posts is the only real power they have in life. Whatever floats your boat, right? I'm to assume that I can at least post HERE, I would hope.

A Gorean Master is "TO" BOASTFUL? OH my gods! Stop the presses! Are you serious?

1. I'll be sure to get permission from a sub before I post? Not likely.
2. You're not "to" intelligent, I gather?
3. Let the flames begin, you state in your post, so I gather that you're hoping to incite drama?

How pathetic! Is this the best that collarme has to run its forums? No wonder you folks have so many problems.

You do know that collarme is the running joke in the BDSM world? I bring friends here all the time just to look at profiles and have a good laugh. Collarme is the Craigslist of BDSM

'to boastful'. wow. That's the kind of logical gap that takes one's breath away.

ANYWAY.

Why yes, thank you for inviting me to your lovely [cough] board.

I'll be sure to inquire if my life meets the uber-high standards of CollarMe before I initiate any conversation? No? LOL

Who are YOU?

Do your opinions appear on the front page of a major newspaper? Mine do.
Do you get paid to write? I do.
Do you have multiple degrees? I do.
Are you certified in two different trades industries? I am.

So, please forgive me if I tend to think somewhat well of myself, given that I was raised in extreme poverty. You probably would never understand.

I've come a long way. My first impression of you? You've got a long way to go.

If flames are to your taste, please turn up the heat, but I don't hang around to argue much. I just happen to be up after a really long article and taking a break.

THANKS FOR THE LAUGHS! You were laughing, right?

Enjoy your marshmallows. I'm going to get back to work and forget about collarme for probably another four or five days until I finish this novel. Yes, a novel. It's a got lots of pages with many words on them. Cheers!

[sarcasm is now off. you may return to your regularly scheduled tweaking.]

wandersalone -> RE: Gorean Master seeking once-in-a-lifetime (11/19/2010 2:51:08 AM)

I am confused, if you feel that CM is the laughing stock of the bdsm world why exactly have you posted your advertisement for a slave here?

and welcome by the way ...it seems like you are a very important person, cool....we don't get many of those here

edited to add- oh the only reason I have my hair covering my face is not because I am important or afraid of being outed, it is because the cops are after me [:)]

GreedyTop -> RE: Gorean Master seeking once-in-a-lifetime (11/19/2010 4:35:32 AM)

wow.. way to appear as an ass! congrats, OP.....

OohAahMrs -> RE: Gorean Master seeking once-in-a-lifetime (11/19/2010 4:45:07 AM)

Welcome Br, is that all there is?

DarkSteven -> RE: Gorean Master seeking once-in-a-lifetime (11/19/2010 4:45:19 AM)

No problem.  The subs here were being chatty.  If you choose to take that as an affront to you, fine.  Feel free to buy out collarme and then run it any way you choose.  Or start up a competing website.

That's the single biggest (and fastest!) flounce I think I've ever seen on CM. Quality. 10/10. You rock!

Please, I'm begging you, don't leave and don't you go changing - you're perfect as you are [:D]

barelynangel -> RE: Gorean Master seeking once-in-a-lifetime (11/19/2010 5:06:05 AM)

Chuckles, well at least they moved this divel from the Gorean Boards.  Sorry you all had to deal with it.  Ironically, i just browsed his profile and it says NOTHING about Gor, but speaks of BDSM even Lifestyle BDSM he loves.  Maybe one day he will get a clue that Goreans don't identify as Gorean MASTERS but simply as Men.  And not all Gorean Men are actually masters.  This is always a clue for most Goreans that a guy has no clue what he speaks of with regard to Gor.

grins, my favorite was the very last line.  Its people like this who create such misconceptions about what living Gorean really is.   grins, i have lived within the concept of Gor for over 15 years and i have NEVER heard of a Gorean SWITCH lol.  And lord did he really say "no limits?"

All in all, he also said in his journal he is leaving CM lol.  So hopefully we won't have to deal with him for very long.  But i find it odd a guy who is all this and a box of chips would need to ANNOUNCE he is leaving instead of just deleting his profile and moving along.

He busted my Flounce-O-Meter! It's taken me years to design and build [:(] Poor little thing fizzed slightly, then screamed once and died.

<taps Flounce-O-Meter>

The needle’s bent and everything [:(]

Seriously though, I did wonder initially if it was a very clever, rather subtle troll. But the language and sentence construction used leads me to think he's actually genuine, if highly insecure.

It has made me think about those books though - I've got a stash of em somewhere (I never, ever throw books away). They were a great source of ... er ... "inspiration" to me in my teenage years, so it'd be kind of fun to revisit them again, if only in an ironic way.

DarkSteven -> RE: Gorean Master seeking once-in-a-lifetime (11/19/2010 5:17:41 AM)

His profile also said that he has a paid subscription to alt.com, which is a vastly superior site to collarme... [:D]

LOL as to "inspiration" - I can see the result of the inspiration...

Teenage guy enters GP office: "I have this terrible pain in my arm..."
GP "Did you do any strenuous exercise where you repeated the same movement over and over again?"
RF (blushing): "Oh yes, errrr, I have recently errr taking up playing tennis and I guess I was errr holding the racket wrong... errr"

I so hope you can't [;)]

LadyConstanze -> RE: Gorean Master seeking once-in-a-lifetime (11/19/2010 5:22:07 AM)

I do have magnifying glasses somewhere, or are telling me in a really polite way that I do need the Hubble telescope? [:)]

That's one of those impossible to answer statements; I either have to say publically "yes, I have a small and inoffensive penis" or I have to say "NO WAY! IT'S A FUCKING MONSTER!", and either way I end up looking a bit of a ... er ... cock.

Well I'm not falling for your subtle trap, madam, so boo to you with knobs on!

<stomps off, stage left, slightly hampered by the king-sized trouser snake he's having to tuck into his pants>

Oh ... arse [:(]

As the helpful person I am, you could always ask this guy for the address of his tailor...

I'm ever-so-slightly suspicious that you're not, in actuality, being helpful and are, just possibly, ripping the piss out of me.

You rotter, you.
