I have a curiosity about the Gorean Lifestyle. However I am not in any way interested in being any body's property, That being said I was wondering if it is possible for a Free Women to own slaves, male or female.

You are free.

You may do as you wish.

Owning the life of another can be a large and sometimes difficult job.

It is important to remember that, in Gorean terms, the "swords" of others will define your limits.

My advice, if you are sincere, is to learn first to live Gorean - which might take several years - before you try to hold the life of another in your hand.

Hello Magik,

Well of course being a Gorean Fw myself, my husband and I do own a slave. So of course you can own a slave unless I misread that and you are owing a slave. I can't imagine what, but whatever.

If you are not Gorean yet, I guess it's a valid question, but I have been Gorean several years and have owned only two slaves. One was mine personally before I met my husband, the other we obtained a few months ago. It is not just about being an owner of a slave, it was far more about and still is, being Gorean first. I hope that helps you out.

Hey Liz!!

Well just a dusting of snow, nothing for rifle season. Tavares went hunting this year for the first time since I've known him, LOL he's competing with my son who got 3 of them so far, and a really nice 9 point was his 2nd one. Yep so much testosterone one can hardly wait to put the waders on in the morning now. LOL

We're supposed to get snow tonight and through Thursday, supposed to get a good amount, we'll see. Tis the season though. We are having a great time here however, Tavares can't wait to go snowmobiling. LOL He loves it here, I just get cold after cold and freeze most of the time. LOL Figures eh?

My 2 cents... the idea of free women on earth is a joke. They had 3 purposes on gor: 1. Breeding, 2. Inheritance, 3. Political alliance. None of those reasons have any application in living according to a gorean philosophy in this world. If you say you are a gorean female on earth, you are either owned or seeking an owner, otherwise, you are just playin a game.

The Gorean lifestyle is a beautiful way to live, unfortunately a small minority of it's men are attracted to it not for a interest in the philosophy, but because they are afraid of women. I would recommend you actually get to know some Gorean free women who live by the philosophies and see why a free man would want a free woman as his life companion.
