Are you the same Bear from mIRC Silk and Steel from so long long ago?

If you are, I have to thank you, I am not exactly a slave anymore although I have just celebrated my ten year anniversary with my partner who is inherently dominant and a perfect match to my inherent submissive nature. We are active within the community and extremely happy, although not living as Goreans, just being who we are without labels.

My experience with you and Master Zeb, and many others brought me so much food for thought and personal exploration, it lead me to be comfortable and secure enough to know what I needed and how to be happy at a mans feet.

I hope you're just as happy and it's wonderful to see you again 13 years later. I registered because I had to let you know that you and yours had an amazing impact on me. I hope that I haven't broken any posting protocols, I was too excited to lurk before posting.

I sure hope I'm him; I'm wearing his underwear...

I am pleased to hear that you have found a place in your life where you are happy and content. So much of what we hear about the "gorean" interaction that takes place online ends so badly that it is a pleasure to hear from someone that came away better for the time spent.

I wish continued peace and happiness for you and those you love.

Bear-

Damn it John, you caught me!

I confess.

I was just roleplaying that I was wearing his underwear...

Well one thing's for sure, if you're wearing it it's your underwear now.

Ah, those days are all but over for me. I'm too old to roll around in the mud with those who like to do so.

These days it's more about getting people to think and question things - both internal and external.

Sometimes, it even works.

Oh, I know the name, both from the books and in another context wearing another face, just not yours.

Memory is a funny thing. There are days I can't recall what I had for breakfast, yet I can recall things that happened in a purely textual context over a decade ago.

Best to you and yours, as well, MBear.
