These are 24/7 houses. As you define them.

How are they run, their composition, are there any kajirae or is there a Companion? If kajirae, is there a first and second and so on girls and how does that work for you? Is this a metro or other setting? Who brings in the income? How is the work shared? Anything, it's your house after all...

Well my house is very simple technically a 3 bed though now one of the kids has got their own home (Yeahhhhh) and the third bedroom is now my craft room its a 2 bed. As it backs onto protected woods we have a great view all year round though leaves are a problem.

As for chores, he cooks because he is a much better cook than me, and I clean because my version of cleaning doesn’t mean move things to be put away from one dirty side to another.

The only rules in the house are don’t EVER let your dad wash or iron clothes (shudders at the thought) and don’t piss me off or I go on strike and you can do your own washing.

We have a first girl, our daughter, she always says she’s first anyway, and she has gotten the wrapping her daddy around her little finger down pat. Apparently everyone loves her, and she somehow always manages to get out of doing anything dirty or inconvenient, big blue eyes and pleaseeeeeee daddy works wonders.

As for money everyone works, this isn’t a charity or a doss house it’s a home.

Cheryl

Hey Cheryl,

First girl in our house these days is a cairn terrier names Casey.  As far as she is concerned anyway.   As a practical standpoint I do laundry, we both cook, something we both enjoy, and I have someone come in and clean house, I wish weekly!  Like your home, we both work, though I work out of our home, so I am home more.  Again shopping we do together because we it's something we both enjoy.

And ALL of our kids are gone.   We live a very simple life, I like that.   Can't wait for gardening to start, it's bright and sunny today, a huge false hope that spring is here. ha!  I know Mother Nature better, there will be more snow.

Take care,

Elizabeth

jess, are you the dominant female (i.e., the domme part of the couple on your profile) in your home or are you one of the slaves?

Just curious.

Greetings all,

Mine is one girl, First and Only :), two children, two horses, three dogs and me. I and star both bring income in. She is primarily responsible for the housework but I have been known to do a decent job of helping and love to help cook and shop for the house. I ride horses, she does not, and we both enjoy hiking and camping in the large wilderness area very close to the house. The tower shown on our profile picture is quite close to the house and we freqent that park area as much as we can.

We are raising a garden this year since we have some land left over behind the pasture. We have two children and this means we take our lifestyle mostly somewhere else although they are aware of it, vaguely, making use of our time outdoors together or the times we can get up to Nashville and the Mark lifestyle club there, away from the kids.

We have a library of the Gorean Sagas on paper but keep them and my BDSM toolkit out of sight of the kids. We do however have that profile picture of star in collar one Christmas framed on a table.

I do run the household but temper my dealings with kajira star in consideration of the children. Never do we engage in Gorean M/s or BDSM activities at the house unless the kids are away. Instead, we take it somewhere else.

Collars? She never wears her collar at the house for the kids sake but does wear it away from the house, even when dining out in nice eateries decked out in a "slut" or kajira "uniform". It is fun to see the reactions, few of them are disdainful looks, many pretend to ignore her and many seem to enjoy her presence and I do get some envy from the vanilla men of my local patch of Earth. Naturally, right?

I'm sure we are no different in that regard than other couples.

Well wishes,
Arturas

Greetings Master Arturas,

how do you know you won't be around other people's children when you go out to eat? I don't understand how if it is not okay to wear around your own children would you risk exposing someone else's child to it.

well wishes

I considered that and came to the conclusion the sight of a collar on a stranger will not cause scars on any child. The context is quite different than having one's own mother walking around the house with a collar, short skirt and heels all the time. She is not undressed or exposing somone else's child to something they have not seen in any mall on any Saturday and sometimes in church on Sunday.

How do you do this in your home and in public scenes? Do you wear your collar in the home as well as to dinner on Saturday night?

When I was owned by a Gorean man I wore his collar 24/7, no matter where I was.
Both my own son and his grand children where exposed to it, and none of the children seemed to notice or care, let alone be scarred by it.

It's impossible to read this as anything other than "I think I've founded a dynasty.  Let's talk about the general concept so I can gain validation by rambling on about how I have a Gorean 'house'".

Pathetic.

Awareness,

While I won't speak for anyone else, I will tell you the objective of my post.  It was to point out the silliness of this thread.  My FC and I live I suppose like most everyone else, we just happen to follow Gorean beliefs.  We don't do anything to "make" it a "Gorean Home", we don't have neon flashing signs, and don't espouse on it, we simply live our lives.

Take care,

Elizabeth

That's your opinion only Elizabeth. If you choose to live your Gorean life without sharing particulars then you may do so but others are more than willing to share the practical aspects of living as Goreans. I noticed there is a new person posting on this thread who is more than welcome to talk briefly about her gorean home and it is these threads that tend to draw these people. Your posting may hinder her future posting.

Hello Arturas,

If she is going to post here, then she better get thicker skin.   I won't alter what I choose to say because it might offend someone, hurt someone's feelings or hinder them from posting, and I believe I spoke ONLY for me.   Anyone can post as they choose, as long as it is within the TOS, which is up to the Mods to decide, not you or me.

Take care,

Elizabeth

I have flashing Neon "My house is Gorean" signs that can be wall or pole Mounted on sale this week at "Crazy Ollies House of Gorean Goodies". Also we are running a special on Slightly used Mead Horns and minorly dented Horned Helmets.

Actually the concept of "living our lives" seems to be one of the most Gorean things I have ever heard on the boards.... but then what do I know... I just read the Cliff notes and have a fetish for spanking girls and bossing then around....

My Home is just that, My home. I do as I see fit there, run it in the manner in which I want it. I do most of the cooking because it pleases me to do so, and I happen to have trained many years ago as a chef, before I joined the military as a Ranger.

My house is not a democracy, but more of a benevolent dictatorship and that works fine for us. Yes I listen, but then I married a woman who is freaking brilliant, and I would be a fool not to listen and appreciate what she says, but always make up my own mind. That too is Gorean. I guess... who knows....

Anyway, I need a drink

Olaf

Arturas,

Two questions.

1.)   What makes the household you described gorean?  What are the differences between you and your neighbor?
2.)   What type of "gorean activities" do you engage in when the kids are away?

From your post, "Never do we engage in Gorean M/s or BDSM activities at the house unless the kids are away"

We live our life like most other people, one day at a time and try to plan for the future. The only physical "Gorean" thing per-say in our home is a Gorean calender. Any other Gorean stuff would be pure philosophy.

Now, now Tammy,

I was asking point blank questions, in direct relation to what you wrote.  No reason to be smarmy.  I wasn't.

If I am the sole reason for your living, please, find a hobby.

Did you wish to speak to the kajira, named star by her master well over a year ago, who yields and serves well in the house of her master Arturas, a house known online years ago as The House of Avalon, about what makes her master's house different from joe blow or even yours?

I am also sure she lives for your questions.

I don't think so. It seemed pretty clear, at least to me, that she was addressing herself to a certain putative subbie who has become legendary in these parts for the garish but pliable decoration she wears wrapped around her little finger.

What makes you think that would be your girl star?
