Rent must be late this month.

On-topic, it depends on the type of scene we're doing, how tall my partner is and how much s/he weighs. I'm 5'3" and I weigh 122 lbs. give or take a couple of pounds. If the person is close to my height/weight, I'll do OTK if it's appropriate to the scene (e.g. school girl/strict teacher). Otherwise, I'll have him/her bend over my coffee table, which is about the same height as a spanking bench, or lay flat on the bed.

Right, is this still a discussion, or just a complete fuckfest?

Anyway, I personally prefer a bed or bench when being spanked, simply due to my back issues. On the occasions that I top, I prefer to use my lap.

I love OTK when it's someone I know and trust well. Otherwise, bench or horse works well and gives a more formal distance.

I haven't used any of the fancier spanking benches--I've been eyeing up a lot of the blueprints however....

Neither is particularly better, really. I like the bent over position (not OTK) when I am doling out a real punishment for breaking a rule or doing something that displeased me. I do not want him to have the added enjoyment of rubbing up against me, feeling my body against him or feeling me as I raise my hand and therefore bracing himself.

I prefer OTK when it is a spanking just for the sake of spanking him. In that case, I want to feel him get hard. I want to be able to tease him by grabbing his balls and yanking them or surprising him with a finger.

Matt, honeybunches, you've copied and pasted this exact message on to several threads now. Not only are the people you are replying to not in fact from CA, but some of them haven't even been on the boards for years. Also, we can all see all of the boards and sending the same message to everyone makes you look desperate.

This is not a good strategy. Search the profiles on the other side and contact people who interest you and are local - actually read their profile and speak to them like human beings, using your very best typing.

Two weeks isn't very long to build up a relationship and since it seems all you want is a spanking, you'd probably be best contacting a local professional domme if you want it done before you leave.
