Has anybody ever heard of A Gor Tale, by Anthony Lawrence before?

quote:

Short Desription:
The elders met in their great hall to determine the order of the upcoming battle with the Sev Tribe. Hava Scmitt knew it would be difficult to engage in battle at this time. How could he fight against the city of Lodi? The place of his birth. Against his old friend Seva Timsh. If ever a final battle was to be fought, it was never in the mind of Seva Timsh to invade Gor. No, if the Havs wanted a battle, they would have to come to him. For both tribes, it would be a fight for their survival, and their way of life.

Has anybody read it?
Does it have any similarity with the Gor series, aside from the tittle?

Lightning Source is a vanity publisher - meaning the author paid to have this printed (if it ever made a paper edition).

From the bit of text you gave, I am unimpressed by his talent (but what do I know, the Twilight series sold millions), and I wonder if Dr. Lange and his agent at the Richard Curtis agency are aware that there is a derivative work for sale that uses (apparently) the good Doctor's intellectual property?

It's that which I was wondering as well, which is why I was interested in finding out if anybody had read the book in question.

If the story is in any way similar to the Gor series, it's very obviously intellectual property theft, while if there is no similarity beyond the tittle, it may be a mere coincident.

The excerpt of the book, and the cover page seem to indicate that in story, there is not much of a similarity.
