Greetings Everyone,

I have followed a couple of friends here to collarme and one to this board. I felt an introduction was in order. I go by the name Selenity in the gorean and bdsm worlds, those in my local Gorean community also know me as my real life name as they have gained my trust and most importantly earned my deepest respects. I identify as a Gorean Free Woman and as a submissive. As I feel women should be subservient and hold a certain amount of deference to their men. I am by no stretch a slave despite my willingness to serve and help though many have attempted to argue otherwise with me. I accept that they disagree with my statement but that does not mean that I have to agree with it. I do work to perfect more domestic minded chores while at the same time continuing my education in favor of more public and political aspirations. I also venture to learn much about other culutres and ways of life to incorporate other methods of living into my life that enrich my own. Some methods may not be strictly Gorean but I live by the saying that No one can tell another how to live Gorean, it is something they must find out for themself.

Hello! I must say I agree, no one can tell another how to live Gorean. It's the same with relationships you know? A woman need not be subservient to a man just because she's the woman, and even though I'm a submissive myself, it's hard to hear sometimes that I should submit to just any man, even if said man and me are in a relationship. There are both men and women who'd dislike that sentence. It's nice to have different opinions on things, though. Welcome to the forums! I hope you have fun, and wish you well too.
