Now seriously, here is what I see in your post:

You are in sub frenzy and probably not making very good decisions. Not everyone is in sub frenzy nor do they necessarily make foolish choices even if they are.

You may be wondering how I came up with the whole sub frenzy thing. It's not your post. It's your NAME. Anyone with a name on a message board like this generally doesn't know what they are doing imo. They haven't figured out how to handle themselves / their own needs. They are probably pretty new to this whole thing. Folks who have been around the block or two have figured out that "use" doesn't always have a positive connotation in these parts and have moved on from sub / dom frenzy to become a little wiser if a bit more bruised.

While this is not ALWAYS accurate, I've been around enough to experience people like you and often this is the scenario.

Get up. Dust yourself off. Be more honest with yourself about your own needs. Move on.

Status: online 		More than four years into this, clip has not been jealous of MP one bit.  MP certainly isn't jealous of clip.  He doesn't want to be the one who is in service to Me, taking the beatings, having to obey everything he's told.

Nice try, but just because you chose lousy partners, don't go looking to say that all poly people are like that.

Status: offline 		Hmmm, op comes in and posts to discourage all  S types to avoid couples.... then the profile is hidden (at least when I tried to view it).
Sounds like someone doesn't like to compete with couples!
 
For the record...in all the years....there never has been any jealousy here. And I doubt that WE are unique, and must therefore assume that some couples must deal with jealousy, some never do. The assertion that jealousy ALWAYS comes up is wrong. Glad to be one of the one's to prove it!

Status: offline 		There are a number of poly people on this site that I have the utmost respect for. They are able to do this in a way that completely works, in a way that is quite lovely.

I absolutely love one couple in particular and consider them part of my personal tribe. It does not mean that particular lifestyle is for me.

I think, OP, that you are meaning well... or at least it seems to be... but you are taking something that was negative for you and turning it around to everybody.

It would be akin to my saying:

I urge all women to seriously reconsider getting involved with a man....i have done it twice....the second time, i was convinced he was different.... You know, no matter how great he sounds, jealousy always rears its ugly head.

Do you see how silly it sounds?

Ok, that's fair enough. My name was given to me by someone(s) else as well. But let me ask you this about your name - where are YOU in it? I can't tell a darn thing about you except that you want to be used. Sounds like somebody used you and you didn't like it. If you put out that this is the sum total of who and what you are (I believe names are truly important), then why would you be surprised that things didn't go well?

lack of a decent sample size.
Get up. Dust yourself off. Be more honest with yourself about your own needs. Move on.
You chose crappy partners.
You don't want to compete with couples.
Your perspective of "always"
changing this to see it a bit more clearly by saying "women / men" instead of "subs / couples"

We aren't hijacking. You are avoiding.
