About a week ago there was a post on collarme equating a submissive to a ball of string. http://www.collarchat.com/m_362989/mpage_1/key_string/tm.htm#362989 For some reason I got into a conversation about it today with someone and he laughed. He said a submissive is definitely not a ball of string, but more like... Like a lightning bolt, he decided. A Dom has to be ready to absorb her power and give it back. If he is not ready, he will get the the shit shocked out of him. Okay, so now I am playing the analogy game with myself. A submissive is like... What do you think?

... a scrabble game ... if you know the right combinations of letters she can be whatever you want her to be.. but, you only get to work with what you pull out of the bag at any given time. You need to plan in advance where your next move will be, realizing you may not know what the next set of letters will be, so you need to be able to improvise to play her well ... and if you have planned carefully, you can score a lot of points and have a never ending source of enjoyment. In time, the pieces get a bit worn about the edges, but it's the same game and everyone knows the rules. Celeste
