Doms are people too.....right? Yea, yea, they are lol

No, we are not. We stride the world and view it from above.  We sneer at mere mortals and submissives.

Heeeeeeeeey! Said it in one!!!!!!!!!!

It's a question i would like some feed back on. There may be a situation where a submissive is interested in a Dominant, but isn't sure he/she is interested. In your opinion, is it proper or appropriate for the submissive to approach the Dominate? Why or why not?

But of course, provided that the approacher is hawt, nekkid and bearing ice cold martini's

VG,

Different strokes stc, but if a "s" is interested in this "D" she had better make a introduction or nothing gets done; as this particular "D" does not chase!

VonGlorious,

Rule #1 to share with you is "Nothing Ventured, Nothing Gained"
Rule #2 Dominants are human beings, we are not insulted by one expressing an interest.
Rule #3 Go for it, what do you have to loose anyways?

Just be respectful, like you would be towards anybody else. Basic human respect, honesty and good communication skills.

it annoys me that women in general don't take more initiative in the dating world, and then complain later that they're lonely or can't find the right type of guy. obviously you're going to be stuck with whatever if you sit back and let them come to you. if you want something you have to go get it. and as a guy i would love a girl that i would be interested in to come out of nowhere and say she was interested in me. but that's never happened and i doubt it ever will, would be fun though.

but there's no reason not to approach someone.

I have approached and been approached, I have made mistakes in my approaching, had messages deleted unread, had replies telling me my approach was all wrong and that I really need to work on it. Sometimes I can write a lot and reference aspects of the profile, and get no response, sometimes, dare I say it? I can write one sentence and end up chatting emailing and etc...

I have been on here a while on and off, my life has been up and down, and I have recently stopped contacting. Simply because there does not seem to be what I am looking for on here that is within realistic meeting distance. My profile is now kind of "yeah well".

I was reading a book about photography, and part of it was talking about getting experience and the author wrote that his mother once said "You already have no", so unless you ask that is all you will have. You could always start with a joke, I was playing chess with my friend and he said, 'Let's make this interesting'. So we stopped playing chess.. (Matt Kirshen)
