If any moderator, or the owners of the site, saw this kind of behavior, said Moderator would be relieved of their duties.  It has happened in the past.

Please do not encourage the general populace to critique or moderate the moderators.  Such behaviors will not be tolerated.

 I think discretion is what is called for if you think mods are stepping over that line. I don't think a public thread or bashing is the way to handle it I think you should direct your complaints and links to ModeratorOne via email.

I personally think that if everyone starts threads about their grips about mods eventually people will stop volunteering to do this job. Now they are human so they may make mistake but there is a right and a wrong way to handle such things in my opinion and an open debate is simply not the right way.

I do have to say though I feel ripped off.
I didn't get an anal probing from HR Block!
I want a refund!

Ya know slavejali, at some point in time we all have those little
power struggles with our "pets".  Both human and otherwise...
now where did the spiked collar and choke chain go?

As a long term volunteer of a different type, I can completely
appreciate the wear and tear on CM's moderator's patience and
diplomacy.  I have been working with the local Rocky Horror cast
and crew for about 8 years now.  Yup, real time misfits, geeks,
and freaks of the Gothic/Punk variety.  On a good evening with
everyone getting along, it feels like an Addam's Family Reunion.
But when the shit hits the fan, the fur flies, the tempers flame and
the room bursts into flames!  lol
 
So you come prepared for any and every enventuality and forseeable
outcome, damn the back-stage-cat-fights and pushy-prick-posers and
small-minded-religious-bigots that persecute us. 
 
Tread softly, but carry that EMT pack and a big ass firearm!  [:D]
