Status: offline 		Some people told me, Gor is not very popular in UK. Isn´t it? I ask especially in this forum, cause I want to know what the goreans think about it. In Germany, where I come from, are many goreans. How works the UK gorean community?

Status: offline 		I live in the U.S. and over here there are a few Goreans here and there, as far as how popular it is, I would say it's not. I'm sure you will find the same thing in any country.

I just hosted a small gathering at my home this past weekend so there are a few of us

I attended the gathering at Mitzies home.
It was pleasant to meet others of the path.
I echo her message or send us a message and we shall give you links to groups.
I myself tried to start up a group in yahoo focused on gatherings, imagining that I would meet a few.
The reality is that there are a few in the Uk but most just want to join and learn fearing the meeting might end up as something they should or could not do.
In truth it is like any other meeting of people but the protocol is there, only the young ones or the ones that think they need to put up a show would do anything uncalled for and I personally would challenge that.

Status: offline 		We've had groups come together in the US over the years from a half dozen to two dozen.  It's a matter of what you do and who you trust.  Two of the largest were ones where slaves were not allowed, simply because of the liability.  There has never been a problem with any I've attended, but they could be...  Realize the police here relate Gor to women buried in 55 gallon drums in Kansas.  A good man once told me the combination to every collar is 9-1-1.

One of the problems Goreans face is the number of assholes who insist on running around calling themselves "Goreans". I never really thought much about it before your post, but I guess BDSM has the same problem.
