As a male who is willing to submit to cbt performed upon me by a woman, but not a male .....

First, it is NOT about the CBT as much as it is about the submission to a woman, and my demonstrating what horrible pain and suffering I am willing to endure for the pleasure of a woman who wishes to inflict it upon me.

i have been very fortunate to have been dominated by straight males. These sessions were chiefly about submission and domination. They were about TPE, BDSM, and generally giving control to a superior. These sessions were not about sex, they were about submission and dominance.

1-I don't play with guys cuz it does nothing for me. Never had the urge, and frankly the thought just kinda makes me go (since we're being all teenage and shit) eeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwwwww.
2-I do have a friend who's kinda hardline about things, especially BDSM. His perspective is that "Slaves are neither male nor female, they are just slaves." An interesting point of view.
3-I'm kinda siding with SB on this one. I might not go so far as to say that you're gay (Not that there's anything wrong with that:-)) if you play with another mans junk but you are in the zip code. My experience is many straight male doms don't wish nor have any desire to play with a male sub even on a non sexual basis. So yeah...that is their personal preference. The few male doms I played with had no issue getting into any BDSM play with a male sub because they are able to separate the sexual aspect from the kink play. Their motivation is they enjoy acting on their sadistic nature and simply enjoy inflicting pain on another sub regardless of the sub's gender.

In many cultures, present and past, men can play sexually with either gender, and it is not considered abnormal. but, yes, if you are str8 and play with another man's genitals in any way you are not str8 (I'm kidding, in case you can't tell)

who cares if you are straight or not? I believe in ancient Rome it was expected that males would have sex with males and no stigma was attached to it. Wives/women were for having kids (okay, and fucking as well), and in fact, a truly straight man was considered to be somewhat odd...

I would think if you are playing with another man's equipment it is kinda gay. I saw a thread on another fet site where the question was asked if guys could cum just from CBT, and most of the guys said yes (in fact, most of them said they had). A great question, I think.

I have known dom males who don't even want to watch a BDSM session with a sub male, it squeaks them major. And then I have known those for whom it doesn't matter what your plumbing is, male or female, they are sessioning for less sexual and more sadistic or power driven reasons and the gender of their sub is secondary.

I'm sure there are those who would argue if that if a male tops a male, there is some "gayness" involved. I don't agree and think those who perceive it as gay are undercover homophobic. But, YMMV and all that.

As far as BDSM being sexual (or not), I think it is if you think it is a/o want it to be. It doesn't *have* to be. When it comes to sex and power exchange we are talking some extremely primal drives. So I don't think it's all that easy to make cut and dried statement about what a particular act, or a specific session "means."

I think it depends on the Dom. In my opinion play is usually done, maybe not as a sexual act or because it causes arousal, but with a sub/slave they are attracted to or use sexually other times. From what I've seen, Doms play with females because that is what they are attracted to and most Doms who play with male subs, it's because they are gay and are attracted to guys. Perhaps there are Doms who enjoy causing pain to males because it gives them more of a sense of power or control simply because it is a male and there are no sexual feelings towards it. If there is no arousal at all towards the male I would not say the Dom is gay or Bisexual...they just enjoy giving other males pain and torturing them.
