In response to the original q....
"Sissy" has so many different connotations. I used to equate it with guys who dressed in women's clothing, assumed exaggerated female mannerisms, and were all into themselves. Having found a wonderful couple we consider great friends, who use the term, but who doesn't fit the above definition, makes me wonder about the label.

My personal opinion is that a man wearing women's clothing, does not make him less of a man. I am also not into narcissists. Man in man's clothes; woman in woman's clothes, vice versa, or naked...don't be one. Actions, attention, and attitude count highly. "Sissy" and "T-gurl" are not one in the same. The obsession with all things girlie can be tiring whether coming from a man or a woman, if it comes across as 'demand energy'.

I can't help but to respond to this thread. I happen to be a man that happens to crosdress. But I damn sure am NOT a sissy. I dislike the term since it has various connotations. Not all crossdressers are Sissy's. I find most males that call themselves a sissy are not to my liking since what they get out of being a sissy is so different from what I am into. I happen to be a man that happens to be a submissive to Women, that happens to be a crossdresser. But I not a sissy. Crossdressing and being as sissy are two different things.
I am blessed in that my Domme enjoys this side of who and what I am.
It's kind of like the term "Mistress" My Domme and I do not like that term either. Again, for the various connotations that term is used for. I never call her my Mistress. But as they say, to each their own.
