I live in a real consertive part of the country so s&m clubs are not out in the open. I am new to the whole alt. World of sex and have been mostly vinilla most of my life. What "signposts" should I look for to find a scene and perhabs find a mistress?

I have tried, but there are nothing but dead links and websites that have been inactive for over a few years....and I am kinda scraed to go thru craigslist!

Hi.

There's some online clubs you can start with and some host parties. you can search munches too. They're bdsm type parties and get togethers sometimes in clubs.

As someone else suggested, try Fetlife. There are definitely groups/events in the Boise area listed that you should be aware of.

Also, you may have to be willing to travel to find what you're looking for. I know for a fact that there is BDSM activity in Seattle and Portland. You may want to make the drive.

I'm sure that you could find a partner in Portland or Seattle who wouldn't mind having an on-going relationship with someone from Boise. Even if you were only able to see them once a month, or once every 2 months, that's a common timeframe for long-distance relationships.

Depending on how badly you desire to fulfill your fantasies, driving to an adjacent state shouldn't be asking too much. Personally, I've traveled to events that were several states away. It just depends on how badly you want this.
