hmmm.. we had a lovely Christmas, way too busy but lovely... I got wonderful presents from darling boy, way too many .. *she spoils me* ... Mid Atlantic Leather is upon us soon, less than two weeks... and her Mom and Sister will be here with us for it -- they're fun at a leather event -- I usually do the explaining -- seems I'm more direct than my boy. heh...

won't bore you with more... OH.. our NYC trip last month was so great, we booked ourselves in to go again in the beginning of March for our anniversary...

Status: offline 		I've been switched to day shift for this week for training. I'm completely out of it, and ready to go back to evening shift where I bloody well belong.

Christmas went well - prezzies are always good. We sold all the puppies, and all but one of the guinea pigs, plus some of the rats that we had for sale, so we actually have a little extra money for a change. I think we're going to fix vehicles then put most of the rest back for a kitchen make-over this summer. We may be having more puppies too, as we didn't have the $ to get our youngest keeper fixed and he nailed one of the girls (which means we may be having St. Bernard mix X Bull-Boxer puppies ... which should be interesting looking, but that doesn't mean that I'm thrilled about it lol). For the record, he's getting fixed very soon - another project for our Shih Tzu money.

I did have some issues through mid-December that required some medication adjustments, but it seems that I'm better now (or ... at least getting there).

Other than that, things are SSDD. Work goes back and forth between great and sucktastic; I love the critters but they drive me crazy; I'm working on crafting, which I enjoy but there is just so much that I want to do that I almost don't know where to start.

Status: offline 		work work work work work work  pretty much describes my December with two quick trips to New York tossed in for some excellent fun.
looking forward to a lot less work and more play in January! 
Received some expired food as a holiday gift (see the thread: WORST GIFT ...EVER) but other than that, 2012 is off to a positive start.

Status: offline 		The holidays were serene and peaceful (no kids thus no grandkids!) New Year's night I danced in Santa Barbara to my favorite Canadian band Crowfoot, then got to enjoy their inspiring local house concert last night. Wayward and I made a bargain to each lose a few pounds over the holidays so between that and about 95% recovery from my surgery last summer I'm ready for our 21 hour dance event over MLK weekend.

Wayward was recommended for a 3-month contract on the E. Coast but as time goes by it is looking more like he'll stay in Ca. Suits me fine; the air commute would have been brutal.

Happy 2012 y'all! And...hang in there, Hib! <MDA makes the frownie face at implied reminder of tax time>

So no one has a TARDIS, huh? Sad face. SO MUCH is riding on this season, I am both numb and geeked. (at the same time, I have NO issues with cognitive or emotional dissonance!) I am loving my new office chair, which is black velveteen! I really love that it was on sale cheap, and so were the workstation chairs.

I am off crutches and limping much less, though still limping and very very glad to wrap my foot in the heating pad in the evening. I still can't walk down stairs normally, I am looking forward to that--it's amazing how many steps there are in the buildings I am in!

I am all <pout> over having to miss my ceramics studio during the tax season. I love my work but it drains me creatively so having that one outlet was really important. I will try and have my sketchbook out so I can start doing things immediately other than freakin artomat tiles come May. (OH I am supergeeked that so many of my tiles are in the machines at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas!)

Status: offline 		well update it is now the 14th of the month. we are down to just wic checks for food purchasing and such but our food stamps did go up to $177 so that is good.

Um is doing well. she is kickin me and rollin around. I am 6 months now. 24 weeks to be exact. almost there got 3 months to go WOOT. just hope maybe that ill have her around april 19th or 20th to place her on the cusp of aries and taurus so that she wont be to hard headed but still be a fireball when it comes to temper.

things will be interesting as we go.

im finished with term 2 of school work and from the math i did if everything is graded at what i predict i will end the term with 2 A's and a C. Not to bad if i say so myself. The C will be added to the pile that i want to retake at a later time for a better grade.

Other than that all is well here and im off to go home and relax for the rest of the day so that i can come up here round noon tomorrow and start the new classes.

What fun BLECH.

Well now that cold weather is finally here, I am back in my element!

In the spring I became involved with a wonderful Domme. This was right before she endured some major changes in her life. I think that I helped to see her through the major portion of her upheavals. I hope that I was an asset and comfort to her. Somewhere around Halloween we started to drift apart. I was in a major funk for quite a while.

I have recently decided to try again. So, if you're interested in a former Hotshot, River Rat, and Ski Bum....

Status: offline 		I rarely do the monthly roll call unless major stuff is happening. Yes, my life is boring a lot of the time or just not worth spreading around ya know. Dec. we lost Earl... I was so broken hearted I danced and sang for four hours to Dixie Chicks... Goodbye Earl, and it didn't even hurt! Earl can't hurt anyone anymore. Who knew that he had life insurance? hehehe... His children will finally get some support... all five of them that we can find... the rest... well, I don't know. So the boys had some adjustments and we are trying to get them through.

My son added to his family and we have a big Hoss now... the nurses tagged him as Hoss because he was so big. His is almost six months and is living up to his nickname. Big and gentle.

My daughter is due for another baby in Feb... a boy. She is nervous because the last one has proven to be one little diva. She is so like me its scary! lol I love when she frowns at me because I know I have just proven to her, I am the queen bee around these parts. Its kind of cute. Mama is scared... tossing her hands in the air scared. lol

I had a bad start to the year... and was ready to cancel the whole thing... but... major changes at my house! lol I mean major! And some doubters (including me) thought it might never happen. I'm getting treated like a treasure and think I got the treasure! I am reserving the right to punish him for taking so long to get here. hehe Can you imagine there is a man so like me that we get each other and yet... different enough to make an old domina smile?

I better not wake up!

To those struggling... I hope things get better and the year is profitable in every way! To those doing well... may it all continue and you have a profitable year too!

Status: offline 		Let's see. We are both doing fine & SO glad that the holidays are over. Yay!! In spite of the holidays, I got a pair of pants that are one size smaller!!! I have no idea how that happened, but yippee!!

I'm running for activity president of our apt building's activity club. There are some problems with the present activity board and passive-aggression, so I've been nominated and hopefully will be elected in February. Then I will whip it into shape. hehe

My cat has a new friend. lol I took a friend to the Humane Society to get a cat, since hers passed away in October. She got a beautiful muted tortoise-shell domestic shorthair 5-yr old.

We're both looking for submissives still. He started writing to someone and she mentioned that she would be interested in a D/D couple, so now we're both doing conference IMs with her and we're hopeful that everything works out. I'm also still writing to subs on my own as, if this works out, he would be her primary Dominant and not me.

I did some sewing for someone and he made me two very nice flogger handles on his lathe, so I'm going to get the leather to make some floggers. He wants more sewing, so this time he said he'd trade me a cane for it. hehe If I do enough sewing, I should build up my toy bag. lol

Status: online 		Think I took long enough?  I seem to live in really weird hour/date/year world, so at least I'm in the right month.

The fun in My life went up a notch when I found that one of My meds ran out on the fifth and I couldn't get that taken care of until the twelfth.  That has helped to make this a really interesting past two weeks.  For those of you who entered the pool regarding the woman who works in My doctor's office, I am sorry to inform you that she is actually still alive, so all of you who placed bets have lost.  (Turns out the ground in My backyard is too frozen to bury her out there.)  Stop sending her family condolence cards!

Still working on the logistics of getting clip up here.  However, considering the circumstances, that may have turned out to be a good thing for him.  Depends on how you look at it.

Speaking of which, mike, I'm sorry to hear things didn't work out.  Plenty of snow up here.  You could ski to your heart's content.

Rumpus, glad you're ok.  Get well soon.

Lockit, really glad to hear your news.  Be happy.  You deserve it.
