I just have to put my two cents in. Any sub that submits to a Dom that isn't willing to inform them of their plans is NUTS! From what you have shown of yourself in this thread, don't be surprised if you're enjoying this plan of yours all by your lonesome.

You know, the only "people" I remember in recent history who thought a poly house was perfectly possible without a plan beforehand, and who basically just where "winging it" when they hooked up where the Fab Four.

And this thread only sounds a little more unrealistically crazy than some of the stories "they" came up with towards the end...

You are right, you don't need a "plan" to be poly. All you need is more than 2 people, willing to live together and attempt to make the relationship work. But that isn't what you said in the OP. You said...

After reading the ENTIRE (and very painful string) I have but two totally independent comments:

1) Often a mega-plan is best realized in smaller steps. I suggest the net-work of book stores will teach alot about what you are trying to do. Once you have that in place, them you can get suggestions from your customers as to location, events, etc. leading to the centers - and legalities. One here in Denver had great problems with an "adult entertainment" business. Went under actually :{( That idea (of a network of bookstores specializing in BDSM) will answer your critics looking for the cash needed to proceed.

2) The 2nd TOTALLY independent idea about this string - Is that you, Bob? Please check in with Alpha, okay?

i like the idea but don't think you have the experance or expertese to pull it off. It's hard enough keeping one 24/7 house in line let alone many of them. You might be better off to get your own in order then find others to form an assoication with.

I think your best bet would be to try to enhance a group that already exists who come together under the website "fetlife". I used to be really involved in the group. This is a nation-wide group with "congregations" if you will. I will say this, if you had a local "Playhouse" or meeting place for these groups, THAT would be the business to get into --- whether for financial gain or just control. There is no lack of people in these groups. You might be surprised what you could accomplish.
