curliesub -> Hi? (2/1/2012 2:39:02 PM)

Am I asking too much, to expect more than a 'hi' greeting, from a Dom?

What are your thoughts?

Fornica -> RE: Hi? (2/1/2012 2:41:44 PM)

Defo. There should also be a "how r u i am fine ur my slave now".

curliesub -> RE: Hi? (2/1/2012 2:44:02 PM)

Hahaha nice answer. Instant sub.

mnottertail -> RE: Hi? (2/1/2012 2:44:40 PM)

Well, first of all welcome.  I do have to say that your profile isnt alot to work with....

I mean what would I be able to say to you, from a mans perspective?

No pic, no skills, no you at all on the profile, really, and AU is pretty big place.  My impression is one of arms folded.

Hi, why curliesub?

Thats about all I could start on.... need some hooks to get grubhooks into you, know what I mean me ol' china?

You're gonna hafta step a little closer to the edge, me ol' Shiela.

curliesub -> RE: Hi? (2/1/2012 2:48:17 PM)

Well, maybe leaving my profile 'lacking' would invite a person to find out more about me. The basics are there.there is more to me than boxes I tick.

But thank you for your opinion

Fornica -> RE: Hi? (2/1/2012 2:48:25 PM)

I want to marry you, Ron.

Knowing you, it would be something involving blow jobs. [;)]

SinFix -> RE: Hi? (2/1/2012 2:52:44 PM)

I agree with Mnott, you aren't giving anybody much to work with other than a Hi... I guess they could add in I'm not looking for a hook up either.. or Tell me about you..

mnottertail -> RE: Hi? (2/1/2012 2:53:24 PM)

Hi, how are you at slobberin up the old seal clubber?

like that, or?  better or worse?

curliesub -> RE: Hi? (2/1/2012 2:58:47 PM)

Every ones a comedian ;)

Fornica -> RE: Hi? (2/1/2012 3:02:32 PM)

We definitely amuse ourselves.
Ok, so, since you've had a sense of humour and seem not to be a one hit wonder, I'll expand ;)
On the"other side" (the profiley side), you'll get a LOT of cut and paste messages, or "hi" messages, by desperate people basically throwing 500 marshmallows out and hoping one hits. In order to save your sanity in the first month you are here (you'll need it), just delete them, and block if you're so inclined.
And the chances of someone messaging you to find more about it is slim. If you're looking for a prospective partner, you're going to need to try harder. If you're looking for friends and people to hang out with chatting about stuff, this side is a good place to do that.

curliesub -> RE: Hi? (2/1/2012 3:07:20 PM)

Well thank you, I will take your advice, I have a stack of kick-it-and-see messages that I shall just dump in the bin. Also I don't see why I should take a lot of time on a profile etc if I end up not liking the site.

mnottertail -> RE: Hi? (2/1/2012 3:10:15 PM)

consider this ....  I walk into a dimly lit bar....  way over in the dark corner, there is a lady perched with her face averted, since we are the only two in there, and I really don't have anything all that important or clever, I say 'Hi'.

Just like you gals can give that pussy away with both hands if you got the want to....
Men are by and large relegated to first moves, and we can get turned down anytime we want......

So...We are not going to recite the Rape of Lucrece to you without some encouragement, and some hope of a dance of sort.

Most women we know don't dance....and you ask too much, not sitting in the vicinity of the dancefloor, but in the dark corner.

That's done wore my ass out.

curliesub -> RE: Hi? (2/1/2012 3:16:15 PM)

Interesting analogy, unfortunately online we don't have the luxury of body language, eye contact etc, words are all we have at first, and hi (to me personally) does not cut it.

DarkSteven -> RE: Hi? (2/1/2012 4:11:39 PM)

Lemme get this straight.  You say it's not worth your effort to really fill out a profile well, because it's the Dom's responsibility to find out about you.  Then you say that you're tired of Doms who won't really carry the ball in a conversation.

You're not willing to exert yourself but complain that Doms aren't either.  Is laziness  an Aussie thing?

Maybe the Doms that are willing to put out something of themselves, want a sub who'll do the same.

Yeah and "entertain me" doesn't cut it from my point of view.  There's just one thing you're failing to remember - it's not all about you.

The basics are there.

You want a man to write you based on your physical measurements, not on your intellect or personality?

Welcome, and best of luck on the site.[:)]

Fuck no.  We tend to be laconic, laid back and rather cynical about authority.  The OP just seems to think behaving like a princess is the way to success.

Never let a comedic entry point go to waste.[:D]

curliesub -> RE: Hi? (2/1/2012 4:28:17 PM)

Well well, look at all the Doms get narky.

Please tell me how my intellect and personality shall be shown by ticking boxes or typing a few words.

You've formed incorrect opinions about me alresdy, and dare to tell me how I should present my profile.. That's MY profile.

I did not come here to be insulted and called a princess and lazy, I can get that at home off my kids thanks
