Android users more likely to put out

Android users are more likely to be slutty, it transpires – having more one night stands, signing up to dating sites more often and being more likely to have sex on a first date, according to a Match.com survey of single Canadian mobile users.

A clear take-away from the Match survey is that BlackBerry owners must be too busy, er, doing business, to engage in either dates, one-nighters or sex. Only 50 per cent have visited an online dating site compared to 58 percent of iPhone users, and 72 per cent of Android users.

Fifty-five per cent of Android users in the Canada survey said they had had one night stands – the most of any phone owners, apparently. We've asked Match.com for the stats on one night stands for iPhone and Blackberry users but have had no response.

Obviously high science was involved at all stages of the investigation: Kimberly Moffit - the Canadian psychotherapist-cum-"dating expert" that Match involved in the analysis of the survey – said that the results proved judging someone's character by their phone was even more reliable than looking at their star sign.

I am sad to report that since switching from Blackberry to Android I have not gotten any more action. Of course, I am not actually Canadian, but the country is RIGHT THERE across the river, that should count, right? RIGHT??

All I got is a Tracfone and that is for emergencies and in hotel rooms. I get strange messages and texts and refuse to text at all (cheaper that way).

But then I am not in Canada and can't afford to be slutty.

If I haven't bought a new phone in a while does that mean I'm having no sex? Or maybe I'm too busy having sex to get a new phone?

(Not to be too serious, but I do have one comment on the study. I would think that Blackberry users are older on average than either Android or iPhone users. I don't know how Android users compare to iPhone users on age. My point is just that if more young people (think teen/college age) are using Androids or iPhones wouldn't we expect exactly this statistic? I couldn't see in the study where they had taken into account other demographic aspects of each group. Did I miss it?)
