Kobak no stranger to police

This is how the Philadelphia Daily News summed up Kobak's life in 1996:

He was a loner, teased in school, laughed at as a weirdo, who sought escape in fantasies about police work and firefighting.

His friends were limited to a skimpy cast of fellow pariahs. He was unpopular with girls. He lived in a world of crackling police and fire scanners, and rock and reggae music, which he played loudly and late from his home, annoying neighbors on a posh section of the Main Line.

He talked about joining police forces and fire companies, but apparently was not accepted, if he applied at all.

He harbored grudges against people he imagined had done him harm and retaliated by phoning in false fire alarms at their houses.

Kobak's propensity for impersonating public servants was part of what linked him to the murder of Aimee Willard, 22, an All-America athlete who was raped and beaten to death in June 1996. Local papers reported he attached red and blue flashing lights and sirens to the roof of his van and sometimes pulled over fellow motorists. The Inquirer reported investigators guessed the killer may have gotten Willard to pull her car over by pretending to be a police officer.

But the Kobak family hired Dennis Cogan, whose Web site says he's been listed as one of the best lawyers in America, and Kobak was exonerated. DNA evidence pointed to another man.

Just another abuser under the guise of BDSM.

For those who dont understand, slave contracts are NOT legal nore enforceable.  If you are asked to do something illegal by your Master, and you are against it, then you are under no obligation to follow those demands.  A Master canNOT order a slave to engage in sex with children, commit armed robbery, or smoke crack.  These are illegal acts and outside the bounds of safe, sane, and consensual.

A slave contract can tighten the bond between Master/slave in spirit only.  Personally I do not use them because they have no positive outcome in court and can only come back and bite one in the ass if one is jilted enough to call in the authorities.

And remember, just because something is consensual, that does not make it legal (for all you pretend Doms who feel that physical abuse is part of the BDSM arena).

Ahh the joys of living in Mexico where prostitution is legal, they already think all gringos are crazy and most anything can be upheld in a court if you have the money. Here it's legal to force female employees to wear short dresses, no panties and not complain when pinched. We see ads for jobs that require a specific age, women only and a good figure, and no one thinks they are illegal.

Dont be so quick to judge as he has NOT been convicted of anything. So big deal he played his music loud as a teenager. What teen hasn't?

The news always paints the victim as All American and the perp as some loser.

Dunno about that the cops turn a blind eye to it just like drunk driving... But legal NO

I honestly don't see what is so messed up about this. She agreed to the terms of the contract that gave him the right to have her engage in sex with other people in the manner he chose. There is nothing in the limits section specifying that he can't require her to engage in prostitution or do anything else based on its legality, either she was naive enough not to make it a limit, or they had discussed prostitution and she agreed to it.

There's no indication that he was running a string of such contractually bound slave/hookers, nor that there was any coercion, either before signing or after, involved in the arrangement. To me it looks like prostitution was just one of their kinks. Sure its illegal, but so is almost everything we do, so that can't really be used as a moral compass, unless you consider prostitution to be way more heinous than assault, a felony you commit every time you spank your submissive.

Actually prostitution is legal in Jalisco and many other states in Mexico. Why would you think anything else?

Drunk driving here is a crime however.

1. We know.
2. If you're asked to do ANYTHING, legal or illegal, by your Master, you're under no obligation.
3. A Master can order a slave to do anything, legal or not. If you do anything illegal, you're on the hook however.
4. I am not a pretend Dom and I do beat my sub regularly. Consensually. It would in fact fit the legal definition of physical abuse. That is in fact a standard part of the BDSM scene.

So would a slave contract be a means of "cover your ass" if things were to go sour?

The 19 yr old was obviously naive, or from a bad neglectful family, has no resources, or needed the money.

I bet the money motivated them.

If this guy forced her to sign, it's wrong. But America does not legally recognize slave contracts or slavery; not BDSM, either.

It's kink that is not mainstream or socially acceptable.

Slaves ought to have more respect for themselves.

Being arrested, or convicted, going to jail, being beaten by a pimp or Master, or forced to prostitute, or getting an STD or pregnant by some 'John', is not worth it.

Wake-the F_ck up! Eventually she'd be beaten and forced to hook, even if she wanted out. Probably given drugs and booze. We've all seen news about this blackmarket crime.
