Why not a pink plush peep bunny backpack clip?  It works great for me!

Anyway, do a search for "collar" threads, we've had a few lately.  Or shop at your local Tiffany's.

Might I suggest a simple silver chain? Your collar can be just a simple peice of jewlery, a necklace or ring. It can be a toe ring. It is up to you what you choose to make your collar. Good luck.

There are rolled steel ones that are attractive and quite passable in the vanilla world..
Master likes the "industrial" look of mine ... a steel cable choker.
my girlfriends actually makes lockable chokers that look VERY vanilla. If you are interested email me, she has pics.

ty for your quick response, but i think i'm looking for something a little more feminine. maybe more discreet, choker style if possible

Doggie collar, turned around, looks like a plain, black choker.  Could be interesting if you forget to turn it around, sometimes I forget.....he always remembers.

Well if you want feminine and discreet, you could make her carry a special "collaring tampon" with her whereever she goes.

I'm only being partly silly here- a collar is a symbol.  Make it a fashion statement, a romantic "precious" or a strand of dental floss, WHATEVER it is as long as it works for you.

Do men really find it that hard to find a sweet piece of jewelry?

It easy to find a great collar. What is difficult is finding a great woman to lock one on.

perverseangelic -> RE: public collar (6/5/2006 3:39:19 PM)

Pretty, feminine collars can show up anywhere. If one is willing to modify existing stuff, one can come up with some pretty nice things.

I have a collar fetish that I'm allowed to indulge, so non-locking peices don't really work for me. I've found, though, that almost any necklace can be modified to accomedate a lock.

Try ebay for silver necklaces. Or if you want something fancy, many jewelers do custom pieces. I'm a fan of heavy-linked silver or stainless steel chain. I found some nice stuff at the local bead store. Beaded neclaces are also a fav. for some.

I don't get the difficulty in finding nice collars either, but maybe that's 'cause i'm crafty.

(Just to brag, the link goes to a picture of what I'm wearing right now. The necklace came from a local Claires accesory store. The charm my Owner bought from an ebay shop. I modified it somewhat so that the lock could be added. (The colors suck. It's actually bright sterling silver)

DCS and I LOVE Claire's.  It's our favorite place for him to play daddy next to Coldstone.  :)

Yum. We have an outlet right near us, so they're always doing 20items for $5. Makes me feel rich. :)

I KNOW!!!!  Heh, as if people didn't think we were young before.

Ah well. :) I think that cheap, adoarble accessories are worth the public scorn I get for being under 30.

What I bought from there was terribly over priced for the poor quality I received.

My favorite one was on a website that seems to have been taken down.

theRose4u,

The Boccia link is also linked from the Teno site I posted.  My collar is on the page you posted!  And I love it, naturally :)
