Admins have had to remove many pictures from this thread for having minors in the picture. It doesn't matter if it is a picture, painting or the minor is hardly visible, they are not allowed.

This will be a final warning for this thread. Any more pictures with children in them and the thread will be locked.

Please work with us as we would hate to lock the thread. Pictures of minors in any form are not allowed anywhere on site.

C'mon now-this makes us all hostage to one screwup-that's a bit unreasonable.
Most likely it would be an error, that's like responding to a booboo with a nuclear bomb.
However, even if someone IS actually trying to provoke the mods and challenge the rule, the fair thing isn't to punish all of us who have greatly enjoyed this thread, posted on it for months and given lots and lots of smiles to many viewers over the time it's been up.
Instead, banish or penalize or "awaiting approval" the poster silly enough to break the edict-no biggee. There are sufficient remedies available right now w/o having to opt for the nuclear option.
And I say this as a cat who unknowingly violated this rule once-wasn't trying to start shit, wasn't being an idiot about it, I was just unaware of the rule.
Not to mention that as things stand right now, this gives any one asshole way to much potential power-I mean any jerk with a grudge can shut down the whole thread.
Which is a little absurd if ya think it through.
Not trying to tell you folks how to run your boards, just giving a bit of insight from the unwashed masses.

And with that said, meanwhile, back at the ranch, getting into the TrainWreck spirit...

After a call to Alpha, I am changing my post to reflect what we spoke about. Kana made a very good point in his post and this is the result of that and my conversation with Alpha.

Alpha understood why I took the stand that I did and I am not in trouble.

(My words here.)
My call was put very strongly based on my understanding of things and in the future I will make a better call in similar situations. I am very protective sometimes. Thank you Kana, for bringing this up as you did. You were very considerate in how you handled this. The whole thread and posters will not suffer for what some others might do.

Oooh, I don't wanna get you in trouble-not one whit. You have a great sense of humor, as witnessed by your contributions here.Plus, theta is overall kinda spiffy, and I'm all for spiffy mods.
And I fully understand the trepidation re pics of minors being posted on a site like this-nobody, well, I shouldn't assume, at least the vast majority of regulars on this thread, wants to get the whole site shut down.
Like I said, I strongly suspect that most of the violations are done not of any malice but merely, as was the case in my incident, over enthusiasm.
So what if we, the regular denizens here kick in,self report. I'm sure a few of the daily posters here would be happy to help, keep our lil section of this here jungle alive and kicking.
Would that help the situation somewhat?

I admit I posted one I thought that was hysterical, a very kind poster*you know who you are* mailed me and I took it down pretty damn fast before anyone got offended... I just wasnt thinking, it hit a funny bone hard but Im very glad someone told me.
