Interesting comments, and some of you make me feel purely lucky. I've worn heels ever since high school and still wear them daily 38 years later. Of course, I used to think three inch heels were tall and didn't "graduate" to five and six inch heels until 15 years ago. Given what some people say, I suppose I should have serious foot and ankle problems, which I don't, something I can only credit to having been a jockette for much of my life. Spending part of your day in spikes and still getting in a good walk/run must help. As for my spikes today, I now wear five inch heels for almost everything. Oh that comment about wearing a larger than "normal" size of shoe, when dealing with spikes anyway, really does work. Laura
