There's just something narcissistic about this -

P.S. -- I don't know what Election Night will hold, but I'd like you to be a part of the event here in Chicago. Any donation you make today automatically enters you for a chance to meet me -- airfare and hotel for you and a guest are covered.

Similar to his "... One thing I think Americans should be proud of: when Tunisians began to protest, this nation, me, my administration, stood with them earlier than just about any other country."

I don't agree.  But maybe all is not lost.  Narcissism.  The other may be some form of narcotic.

Hahaha... neocons whining about Narcissistic thoughts... that's hysterical.

I made a donation. I just flushed a tampon.

nar·cis·sism (närs-szm) also nar·cism (-szm)
n.
1. Excessive love or admiration of oneself. See Synonyms at conceit.
2. A psychological condition characterized by self-preoccupation, lack of empathy, and unconscious deficits in self-esteem.
3. Erotic pleasure derived from contemplation or admiration of one's own body or self, especially as a fixation on or a regression to an infantile stage of development.
4. The attribute of the human psyche charactized by admiration of oneself but within normal limits.

Look it up.

I stand corrected, but it is uncommonly used to be sure.

In any case, I disagree with the OPie, but that is not uncommon.

Isn't that lovely, he wants to be re-elected to save the country. How altruistic.

And I guess Romney isn't narcissistic? After all, he wants to be president "to save the country". Or is it just the power of the presidency that Romney is after?
