One theory ( and one that I like) about how to define the slave mindset is the SODS principle.
The SODS principle;
Submission
Obedience
Direction
Structure.
Submission- A slave has a deep and fundamental craving to please. It is hardwired into her. It is who she is, without being all that she is.
Obedience- A slave feels the absolute need to obey in her soul. she does not want to lead, and only does so when she must.
Direction- she needs guidance, direction, goals, rules, and clear specific intent.
Structure- Discipline is structure. Structure is formed from the rules, rituals and protocols that that define the extent of the Three Powers. The Three Powers are control of her Body, Behavior, and Attitude.

alrighty then. [8|]

Hey, myotherself, after reading your post I felt I had to perv you.

OMG, you are hilarious and deliciously sarcastic. That was the best and funniest narrative I've ever read.

Damn, I like you!

Thank you...I like you too! [:D]

You're in the UK. Is that where you're from, originally?

I think I like ST's JDWIFTYTD theory. That's pretty much how I see it.
I wish I ever would own someone who said, my submission is a gift!
Let me show you my gift. (Insert evil grin along with compromising positions and a good caning)

methinks your mailbox will now be much more full :p

TNDommeK -> RE: The SODS principle (6/24/2013 12:12:49 AM)

I can't see it, either. Did that happen to be the one where I told the guy that I knew of an outhouse in Alaska where he could get all of the frozen shit that he could eat for free?

As far as theories go, I've seen worse.

Really, anything that I have to say on the subject is strictly anecdotal in nature and I can only say that I do identify as a slave to Himself and that those these which you list as a 'need' are desires/wants (or simply non-existent) in the relationship that Himself and I share. Our own structure is fairly alien to what you have listed as a favored theory for your way of life.

For us, it's not so much that he controls 'me' but that he has control over his own life, allows me to share it as long as I do so in the way he instructs - his instructions are rarely about anything other than making his life easier and/or more entertaining and things of that nature and those things I'm happy to do as long as it keeps me in his circle. So far, so good.

I hope you find as much peace and happiness in 'your' way as Himself and I have found in doing things 'our' (read: His) way.

We have a gore section? And nobody told me? I'm crushed. :-)

DesFIP -> RE: The SODS principle (6/24/2013 7:56:16 PM)

I subscribe to ignoring all the op's nonsense. Instead I focused on finding a man worth following. I don't have a 'slave belly'. I wouldn't do what I do for just anybody. And unfortunately I don't get the feeling from the op's nonsense that he's someone worthy of leading the relationship.

What I do get the feeling is that at 58 he still isn't a man who merits being in charge, and so has decided to say that anyone who turns him down isn't a true slave who craves obedience and the rest of the guff. Sad.

Instead of deciding that half the human race needs to change in order to fit you, why not start with yourself?

I am glad all that works for you. [:D]

Submission isnt a gift... at least not with me. Its hard work, and hard earned. That is how I am hardwired. Its no more a gift that a man's dominance.

Castle Realm was a joke. Akin to the 50 Shades.
