I generally ignor his petty crap. I didn't on this thread (apologies to all). I couldn't resist going at it over his rediculas claims of supernatural marksmanship.

I got someone on the big toe with a water balloon today, while running. Does that count?

A) is that where you were aiming?
B) was it at 25 yards?

Just for fun Bama... what was your best example of marksmanship? Otherwise the best shot or group...You tell me yours and I'll tell you mind... I am interested... not being a smartass

well in order for it to count it had to be an imaginary magnum balloon betting imaginary money and hitting his toe while hes running at you 25 yards away.

Just a little something for all the dumbass chairborn rangers. This young man shoots clay birds with a .22 pistol.

with what?

Probly cant do it anymore but when I was a kid we used compete with each other and do bullet in bullet in a block of wood at 50, then slide a new bullet into the hole to see which one had the least friction to determine who had to buy the beer. (bench) Most was the initial plus 2 more rounds into the same hole after that they go too sloppy to tell. (no friction) Same gun, on a good day, usually about the size of a quarter at 300. Some guys can keep it about the size of a dime. Nothing special, pretty much any avid shooter can do it, but admittedly not even close to being able to compare with felch and his imaginary magnum that he used to win the wwe championship super sooper dooper magnum top gun pooper marksman title belt. More chin music from the chairborn rangers who put .22mags in a .22 lr.
Jesus you are phoquing stupid.

Playing kick the can at 100yds with a winchester, never let it stop moving.
Consistantly hitting a gallon jug at 100 yds with a revolver.
Out shooting 90% of my sheriff's office at the range.
Never claimed super human ability like you know who.
At 25 consitent bullsyes with handgun and my glasses off, after the Miami shootout.

You can hit a 1.51" bull at 25 yards, 25 out of 25 times, but you feel that I cannot.
Jesus you are phoquing stupid.

Left out hitting a quarter sized target, several of them at 100 yds, cause that hardly counts, I was using an 03A3.

Real0ne -> RE: Does self defense allow you to beat someone to death"? (4/17/2016 6:52:56 PM)

If that was open sights you got way better eyes than I do! Either way that would make that a damn good group for that rifle!

We used to do a variation of kick the can gig to see how long we could keep it up in the air. someone would toss a can up at about 45deg angle, best I every did was 6 rounds in air before a miss. Its becomes a pretty small target by that point. lol

Yes it was open sites, but the target was shinny.
Six in the air is pretty good shooting.
Right you were talking about the 30-30 weren't you?
Shooting the 03A3 was kind of boring, the range was only 100yds and it was too accurate to make that a challenge.

No one but a chairborn ranger could do that. Of course us mere mortals don't try to put magnum bullets in a .22lr. or mistake a .22 pistol for an automag.
Jesus you are phoquing stupid.

Chairborn rangers use a pistol to shoot at 100 yards while mere mortals cant hit a similar size target at 25 yards[8|]

No way in hell could I do that now days! LOL That was when I had a gun implant! [8D]

The a3. Its been like years since I was heavy into guns and forgot a lot, but I believe you are getting down to 1moa which imo is very good for an a3, which to me means you have one that is in excellent condition and I assume its bedded? Id be curious to hear what it would do with a scope shooting down range. Oh and are you reloading or shooting stock?

Never cared for the 3030, good brush gun though.

Where you aiming at their big toe?

Well, no. I was actually going for center mass.

kdsub -> RE: Does self defense allow you to beat someone to death"? (4/17/2016 8:07:50 PM)

Bama RealOne thanks... My claim to fame is nowhere as good as that. Mine was an ability to put 8 out of ten rounds under a 3 inch spotter shooting prone at 500 yards with an M14 and peep sites... I did that once but i could consistently get at least 5 of of 10. It was my best position. I could do it both right and left handed. In boot camp back in the mid 60's your first qualification had to be right handed. After that the other two times I qualified I could shoot my natural left handed.

Not aiming there, was actually going for center mass. And it wasn't at 25 yards, more like 25 feet, but hey it was launched while running so I figure that gotta count for something

The 03a3 Springfield great shooting gun, wouldn't want to carry it all day but if you can't shoot with it you can't shoot.
I did once see a guy shoot uphill with it while squating wouldn't listen to any advice because he had shot them in ROTC.
Turned out the ones he shot had been converted to .22s I caught the rifel before it hit the ground, let him roll down the hill. After that he listened when I told him somethng.
