Do any other submissives/slaves have a regular bedtime which is enforced by thier Dom/Domme? What time? Is it negotiable? If so, under what circumstances?

During times while i must be away, my Master sends me off to bed at 10pm most nights. If i work later than usual i am sometimes allowed a bit of extra time to stay up and unwind. On rare occasion i've been allowed to remain up later upon request. Sometimes, upon request, He allows me to stay up later simply because i miss Him and am enjoying an interesting conversation with Him on the phone or in an instant messenger (intelligent conversation ... we don't DO the cyber drivel/dribble stuff).

When i am here with my Master, He tells me to settle down and go to sleep at random times which He chooses (dependent upon whether i have work the next morning).

Uhhhmmm ... as a matter of fact it IS late. i think i'd better get my obediant little ass to bed NOW. [:)]

I am a night-owl, and frequently use the night time hours to relax, unwind, and have a little privacy. Back when I was owned, this was doubly important, because once the day began I was pretty much on call until everybody went to sleep. I would up having to rely on the "first cup of coffee" ploy to keep from being overwhelmed first thing upon awakening (point of truth, I have never needed coffee to wake up. I actually prefer it in the afternoon, in order to stay awake, but shuffling along, grunting in a semi-articulate fashion, and staring at the mr coffee gave me fifteen or twenty minutes to boot up my brain before demands were made of me)

I would fequently lose track of time, and on occasion my mistress would clamber out of bed and demand that I GO TO BED. I think I was supposed to have an actual bed-time, but in truth, she wasn'tr very good at mantaining rules or limits, so I tended to stay awake until I fell over or she yelled at me.

Nowadays, I frequently tell my wife to go to bed, simply because she has to be functional in the morning. Then again, she frequently orders me to eat, because I have been known to subsist on coffee for days at a time. We're both switches, so we both get to wear the daddy pants.

My slave is fast asleep right now. I put her to bed at 9 pm tonight because she works early tomorrow. Her bedtime varies, but it is always up to me.

I always follow Hubby to bed, whatever time He wants, but it's usually around 1 am.[:)]

I'm rarely sent to bed or at a certain time unless I have meetings the next morning.

I am not often sent to bed unless I have been talking with or actually with Master and it is late. Then He will simply say "go to bed." I don't have a set bedtime.

That is one area of our relationship that really does not matter. Doug knows I will get enough sleep on my own. My schedule varies from time to time. He gets up at 4am, so do I. Although sometimes I have an easy day where others I will have a much harder day. So, its all up to me and what I need. He certainly cannot tell me that for me.

Plus, if he told me to go to bed at a certain time, in my mind it would be a waste. What's to say I'm ready to go to bed? I could lie there for hours thinking issues out in my mind. Why be in bed if you cannot sleep?

I am with you Gloria.... Master knows that when my mind is too active, I *may* be in bed, but I will not sleep and more importantly not get any rest. Master always says I'm old enough to know and understand what is best for me. After all,, if I *chose* to stay up 'til 3 one morning knowing I have to get up at 7, there is no problem, because I *will* do what I need to... lol but I'm a night person.. and I keep Race (our 2 year old) up late enough so that HE doesn't get up until 10 or 10:30 (normally 30 minutes or so after me).

Mistress always sends me to bed after i am done with chores, which is usually around 10 pm. I used to be the kind that would not sleep for days. Mistress had to force discipline at that time because no sleep meant my attention span was small and my work careless. Thank you Mistress!!! [:)]

I wrote this on another thread, but often I am the one who forces him into bed. Yup, not "submissive' of me, I know. However, without some proding he wouldn't get into bed before 4 am most nights, which means he wouldn't be able to function in school.

I see this as a case when my care of his welfare, and my duty to make his life better surmounts my submission to his desires.

Me, I go to bed around 11 on my own. I'm a morning/daylight person. If I had my way I'd go to bed and wake up with the sun. Sucks in winter :)

This one really brings back memories of what had started out as a miserable time in my life. Depression over my mother's death kept me awake all hours of the day and night, didn't eat, in short, i was taking lousy care of myself. The computer became my safety line, my line to the world, and almost destroyed me. By the time my first Master came into my life one of his first rules was OFF line by 10:00, which gave me an hour to get ready and be IN bed by 11:00. This was an incredibly difficult thing to do -- and he always found out if i "fudged" and then i felt lower than dirt for disappointing him. To make a long story short, His caring and love turned my life around, turned me back into a "normal" person, or as normal as kinky can be. i will love him forever for giving that back to me.

i have to admit i miss the rules and the structure of a M/s relationship although i sure fought accepting them.

Well I always go to bed at a decent hour. Although Doug doesn't require me to go with him. I don't think in 6 years there has ever been a night I've ever not gone with him.

I generally have a lot on my mind though. Sometimes it is hard to clear it. It's just better to be a bit productive than lie in bed thinking.

That is how it is with Sir and I. Otherwise, He says I shouldn't be up too late because I have to be up with the kids early in the morning. Mistress and I are both night owls, so I never really am told to go to bed with Her...but She will order me to take a nap if She sees I need it.

*blah* i don't have a Dom/Master right now but i have been chatting with one a lot and i love it when He sends me to bed. Even so He dosen't "own" me He will say things like "You have to get up early tomorrow so off to bed now" I guess we have a odd relationship right now because we haven't meet but have become close and i have gained a lot of respect for Him. In the respect i have for Him i do things for Him and answer with a "Yes Sir" when told to do something. He doesn't abuse this power i have given Him and He knows where the limits still are i guess. I do like how He watches out for my best interests though, it's such a turn on for me *grins* ... making sure i get plently of rest is one way He does look out for me. I wasn't able to take a day off from work before my vacation so this is why we haven't meet and i even offered to come after work one night and drive back the next morning before work that afternoon but He said no it was to far to drive so late (awwwww)

anyway i got off track some *LOL* but when i do have a "Master" i want Him to decide when i go to bed and make it because it is what is best for me. Maybe not like 9:00 everynight (kids stuff bedtimes) but being sent to bed because i had a hard day or get up early the next day...

Being controlled really turns me on!
