Cats, cigarette ash, and cheap chardonnay have ruined my keyboard – but my typing has improved..honestly :D. Bad typing, jamming keys, missed keystrokes most of us understand…the pedantic I will hurl; to too two of off they their there they’re at..and perhaps the kitchen sink two/to/too.

I have 3 opinions of pro domes I dated one for a while these people I know, and I understand some, but by know/no means all of them

OP, this is the difference between a pro and lifestyle domme. Although it is possible for one to be both, many find the idea of paying to be in a relationship to be rather strange.

I have no problem with the pros as long as they are up front that is what they are. You are not misleading people, but rather being quite up front this is work for you. Do yourself a favor. Drop a little cash and get some professional photos done. Take the time to spell and grammar check your profile. Right now, it looks like any other pay princess who thinks this is an easy way to make a buck. If you can't distinguish yourself from others, why would anyone hire you?

Oh, and as someone else said, you are paid for your services. Therefore, you are in the employ of the person paying you. They pay for what their fantasy is, and yours is really irrelevant, other than you can turn down clients whose kinks don't match yours.

Professionals don't whine about clients to the general public. You know what they say, "you only get one chance to make a first impression." So while you didn't ask, think about that and the first impression you have made here.

If you are asking why people are suggesting you are fake, I would say there are probably many reasons. One reason being they are horny and you won't scratch their itch.

They also might wonder why you make such a point of saying there won't be any sex involved, yet list CBT as the first thing you like to do. Now I am the first one to say that BDSM doesn't have to involve sex. But the minute you touch my pussy (or in a guys case, his dick) and start playing then it is sexual and no amount of spinning is going to change that.

You also mention online play and to a lot of people it's not real unless you do it in the real world.

Then you will have those who don't think they should be charged for anything. They seem to think that because someone likes doing something, they should automatically do it for free. I think the OP's explanation of services "Humiliation, sissy play, Role play, Bondage, Orgasm control, wax play, panty hose fetish, Foot fetish, Chastity" is hopelessly vague. Any one of these categories could include a great number of scenes that may or may not be appealing to a customer. If she was serious, her specific approach to these scenes should be more fleshed out on a web site (or wherever) without getting into titillating details on a customer by customer basis, and she could thus avoid the feeling that customers are looking for something for free by asking her directly for more detail.

The OP's approach to her work seems lazy, and that is why I think her complaint is unsupportable.

In fairness I was referring to pro-dommes in general, not specific to the OP. I agree that the OP could stand to put in more effort, she's pretty much a dime a dozen.

The guy I quoted seemed to be making a connection between lifestyle dommes and pro-dommes where there is little, implying that pro-dommes are predators seeking to profit off the poor unsuspecting subs when all they want is a fulfilling relationship. This is so often not the case.

Keep in mind that these women took years to train up to the standard they are working at. To be earning the sort of money you are asking for you have to be good, I mean top dollar good. You will be expected to be an expert in CBT as well as every kink you offer, you will need to run a suitable and easy to get to chambers and have all the right furniture and tools. You will need wardrobes full of fetish outfits to cater for a clients needs. You will need a receptionist/bodyguard and even then, you will need to work long hours if you really want to make any serious money.

The problem is, lots of women jump on this band wagon believing they can make easy money by not doing very much at all, they can't and that's why you see these women come in for a while and then drop off the radar. From the way your profile is structured, sorry but I believe you are one of those women.

I think it might help you in all ways if you were to get a tame sub who's somewhat educated to do your written stuff for you, YesmamRuby. I can't speak for male subs in general - still less can I speak for those who employ pro-Dommes because I've never gone down that path - but I do think it's crucial that, if you want to earn top bucks at your trade, you have to come across as quite 'sophisticated'. Just a guess, as I say.

I look at the initial answer to the post and I agree. You must put effort into your business. Moreover you need to provide full disclosure. I am a Pro Domina, I have links to [removed contact info] and give full disclosure to all those I who find me.
