In my digs it can get up to 150 degrees (not kidding, I once had a wine thermometer that exploded just like in the comic books.)
Now since you are in a kind of fever you also start to hallucinate. Here are my favorites:
1. Confetti. I ripped everything made of paper within reach to tiny pieces. From the local newspaper to bank account statements. I am just glad that I didn't get to my birth certificate - that's kind of hard to replace.
2. Why not listen to a book while you read a CD? You can even stick a CD in a book and grumble about how modern technology never seems to work.
3. The cactus. I was damn sure that I never brought a cactus home. Yet there it was. On my dresser. In plain sight. Although I knew it didn't exist.
