personally I don't like so many people running yet its understandable too. if you ask any of the "clown car" (as you ignorantly put it) you will hear them say they are running because after 7 years of Obama, they are dismayed with the direction the country's gone, and they would see a Hillary presidency as more of the same, and disastrous for us.

among other things---road to Greece anyone?

that said, chris Christie has been voted governor twice in a majority democrat party state that has voted democrat in the presidential elections since the early 90s, has had a large majority of democrats in the legislature, and he (at least in the most recent election) garnered a fair amount of votes from democrats and liberals, ~30% each.

so it seems some of your fellow travelers don't find him so much "clownish."

Being elected governor is nowhere near being electable to a national office.

You ignorantly put your viewpoint so peevishly.

Owner59 -> RE: Clowncar gets fuller...... (7/1/2015 8:35:42 AM)

I love how righties delude themselves.....It`s like kid`s playing make pretend....

Oh and it`s a clown car....

Christy is not popular in Jersey right now.....[:D]..... after his NINE credit downgrades ! [X(]

PA,NY,Conn and Delaware  (the states bordering NJ) have all seen economic growth and improvement while NJ has seen things get worse.

Maybe Christy will attempt to shift blame for his own record but that really only works on dupes like yourself.

And I`m pretty sure that normal Americans won`t be fooled into thinking that downgrades and fiscal ineptitude is the way to "fix" America, after climbing out of the great bush recession....

It`ll be his fellow republican running mates that grind him into dust though.....As well as his own big mouth.

Can you get a poll that`s not two or three years old maybe?[:D]

http://www.nj.com/politics/index.ssf/2015/07/christie_blames_nj_dems_liberal_media_for_his_weak.html

TRENTON —Gov. Chris Christie said Tuesday night that he was "the prohibitive frontrunner for the Republican nomination for president" until politically motivated Bridgegate investigations by Democrats in the state Legislature and the "liberal media" knocked him down in the polls.

"They can't live with the fact that I am innocent, and that I didn't do anything wrong," Christie told Sean Hannity on Fox News, referring to MSNBC and The New York Times.

"I think they wanted to take me down," said Christie, who also claimed he'd been "cleared" by the U.S. Attorney's investigation into the lane closures at the George Washington Bridge.

At least there is more than one person running for the Republican nomination. The Democrats have Hillary and kind of Rand Paul.

Rand Paul needs a 3rd party but doesn't have enough free speech [sic]...in the bank.

Clown car.....

http://www.msnbc.com/rachel-maddow-show/rand-paul-cliven-bundy-are-tune-each-other?cid=sm_fb_maddow

But Bundy quickly became a cause celebre in far-right circles, celebrated by Fox News and Republican officials, right up until the rancher’s racist views came to light. Conservatives who were cheering Bundy on quickly discovered the problems with celebrating an unhinged activist who claimed to be an expert on “the negro” and who believes black people were “better off as slaves.”

The Kentucky senator met the indebted rancher on Monday, when Paul held a question-and-answer session for “about 50 supporters and activists interested in land rights,” in the town of Mesquite, Nevada, the Associated Press reported. […] “In general, I think we’re in tune with each other. I don’t think we need to ask Washington, D.C. for this land. It’s our land,” Bundy told the AP after his meeting with Paul.

"Tuesday afternoon, the wizards behind Bobby Jindal‘s social media presence decided they’d let Twitter ask the Louisiana governor and presidential candidate questions, which he could answer later in a public forum. They told people to use the hashtag #AskBobby.

Actually, something like this might be more appropriate:

I got a chance to look inside the wienermobile, when it had broken down in a parking lot and they had to call for help. It's like a small to medium sized RV on the inside, so they'd probably all fit.
