Yeah, no. It requires only a word search to verify that there is nothing in the report about a "wallet".

I am wondering if there is another word for thesaurus.

I'm starting to wonder when you're going to get back on your medication.

If a cop sticks a gun in your face and demands your wallet what do you do?

Do you havhave proof that any police officer has done such a thing or is this another one of your mystic, whimsical analogies?

It is in the DOJ report on Ferguson... That is where I read it.

Want to tell us again where you read it?

***While this thread may not be about the DOJ report the DOJ report is most assuredly about this thread.***

You called it right there...this thread is NOT about the DOJ report.

The DOJ report is about this thread? Really?

...the DOJ report is about protestors gathering for the one year anniversary of a black criminals death?

...the DOJ report is about those protestors not being able to acknowledge that Michael Brown died due to his OWN actions?

...the DOJ report is about these 'peaceful protestors' staying so peaceful with their rioting, shooting and looting that a state of emergency was declared?

...the DOJ report is about the lack of mourning for a police officer who lost his job...for doing his job?

No. While the DOJ report may be about Ferguson, it isn't about this thread at all. You want to start a thread about the DOJ report on Ferguson, do so. But I have a feeling that if you want some response, you're going to have to write something besides "here's the source...a document containing so many pages, it's in PDF format...go read it."

So the reason you don't read it is that it has too many pages and the words are too big?

Often it is too much of a certain medication that cause short term memory loss.

Not memory. Patience. Quite aside from the fact that the word "wallet" doesn't appear in the text of the report, I found neither "gun" nor "firearm" nor "weapon" appearing in a context remotely like what you described. One of us is wrong, of course. But since you can't seem to quote the text your claim relies on, I'm guessing it's you.

In this guessing game I am going to guess that you still have not read the DOJ report.

That would be an assumption on your part. And a wrong one at that.

And I'm guessing you're a jerk. We're done here.

I am guessing that if you were to read the DOJ report you would be the gentleman I know you to be and apologize.

Not likely. I get that your claim was a hyperbolic reference to the Ferguson PD's focus on revenue generation. But when asked if you were describing an actual incident you just jerked the questioner around, insisting it was in the report: that you read it there.

If a cop sticks a gun in your face and demands your wallet what do you do?

You didn't read any such thing, and CD was right when he nailed it as an analogy right from the start. Everything after that is just you being a jerk. If you can quote where the text actually reports such an incident, I'll be more than happy to apologize. But otherwise, I've been as gentlemanly as I'm going to be in the circumstances.

This would be your opinion.

This would be your hope.

Then avail yourself of the pdf and proceed as any gentleman would.

No you have not been gentlemanly at all, you have been quite rude.
For 27 years I had a .30 cal sanction for the rude. Fifty odd years ago that sanction was removed and I had to learn new ways to cope with the rude. I found the simple way was to ignore it. Those who are gentlemen at their base will eventually recognize their errors. The opinions of those who never were and never will be are unimportant.
