BTW I don't know anything about guns. But one man essentially killed 50 and injured 50+. That's alot! What kind of gun did he have that can kill so many? So many bullets? And so accurate? Sounds like he was even trained. This worked even better than suicide bombing!

He had an AR-15-style assault rifle and a 9mm handgun, both of which he bought just a few days ago.

You cannot turn someone down to purchase on account of you know for a fact that they will run a stopsign somewhere in time....yes, we have issues.

I have no idea what that means. I always think guns only can have 6 bullets at one go.

A quick search shows you are inaccurate: John Downs, owner of Downs Bait and Guns in Ohio, denied the purchase of firearm(s) to James Howard, who had passed a background check. There's also the well-publicized case of Mark Kelly's AR-15 purchase being rescinded by the FFL.

How did a mass shooter get such a giant gun into the club? Where is club security?
Secondly, NOBODY in that club had guns too? I thought the whole idea of guns is for protection.

Where did I say anything about turning him down?

Doesn't look like they fought back, he had to reload. Also it was several hours before the police got to him. He didn't automatically shoot them all right off the bat.

No security would make it easy, not even the AR is a "giant" gun.

Depends on the firearm.
I have one that only holds two.
Another that holds 11.
The standard for an AR is 20 with larger (and less dependable) magazines availiable. The shooter in Aurora had a 100 round magazine (that jamed after about 10 rounds) and had to switch to a shotgun with about 6 (far more deadly) rounds.

Well, not surprise. American Born Muslim. Saw two gay men kissing in the bathroom, and decided to go crazy killing gays. WTF? No point being American Born and American educated at all. I do blame the religion. It's what the mosque is brainwashing them about.

How long ago was it that christians outgrew doing that kind of shit?

Okay, so with two guns, at one time, with his bigger gun, he can shoot 10x20 bullets, 200 bullets. And 6 with the other gun.

206 bullets he had to use! Managed to hit 100 running people. That's really accurate!

Surprise throughout it all, nobody jumped on him from behind to tackle him.

And surprise that nobody else had guns to defend themselves.

IF he managed to get one big gun in that easily, that club security was not doing their job! Unless he shot and killed all the security too at entrance.

The Christian vs. Muslim arm-wrestling misses the point, I think.

Both of those traditions--along with others--share a common problem: unhinged extremists who assume their prejudices are also God's.

Generally speaking and pointed out previously, firearms are legally prohibited in places that serve alcohol. Additionally, when faced with an armed person firing randomly into a crowd one's first instinct is to get away from the shooter.

My AR-15s, and many others in free states, use Magpul 30-round magazines which are unbelievably reliable and relatively inexpensive.

Magpul makes a 60-round magazine but it's fairly expensive when compared to the 30-round magazines, not to mention bulky.
