Wow...so many experts with little or no actual knowledge.

YES, written hypnosis is a thing. I'm not saying someone can send you some random email and off you go. I'm saying it's possible to use written text to induce trance and effect some kind of change (depending on the change desired).

I wouldn't use it therapeutically but I do know people who were almost entirely through written text very successfully...for years.

Again, people interested in this should ask their local BDSM group (if they have one) if they have any Erotic Hypnosis classes that can be given and consider attending one of the many erotic hypnosis conferences nation-wide such as NEEHU, MEEHU, WEEHU, Entranced, Charmed, etc.

I'm an avid reader and where I'd say " Not a real thing" I'm reminded of books I've read where the world just faded away around me. I don't believe written hypnotism works but I've been entranced by a few books.
