Why would someone want a complete stranger as a mentor?

Generally, a mentor is the same role as you. For example, as young slave, a friend of mine whom is an experienced slave is my mentor. A Dominant asking to mentor a new sub is usually a predator. :/ OP, I recommend finding your local community and befriending submissives you can look up to and learn from. :)
