Time to go row with the slaves...
Rowing to swing a heavy weight from the end of a horizontal spring loaded lever can cause enough force upon the lever to pump hydraulics hard enough to power your home.
generating power can be fun, and a LOT easier than pedaling a stupid bike. Swinging 4 tons of water from the end of a 20 foot lever is way more powerful and surprisingly easy to do. Check out swinggen.com for details on how it works.
