So is the conclusion that little men fight better than big men?

That's why US lost the Vietnam war?

Sweet jesus, your stupidity continues to amaze me.

First, again, at the time of the viking raids, nobody, was much taller than 5'8".

Simple evolutionary fact.

Second the US lost the Vietnam war because a bunch of idiots in Congress kept the hands tied of the Generals in charge of the operations.

You cant bomb Hanoi proper, but you can bomb around it.
You cant target SAM storage areas, but you can bomb SAM sites AFTER they become operational.

Then you had a bunch of idiots trying to fight a symmetrical war (i.e a war with set front lines) against in an asymmetrical combat zone. It really is hard to fight an enemy when you don't know who the fuck the enemy is. During the day, he is a barber or some local civilian worker on a US base, at night he is VC.

Of course, the US went into that war with the idea that we were going to win the hearts and minds of the populace. Bullshit.

The VC garnered much of their support through fear. A US army medical team goes in and gives kids vaccinations, the VC come in later and hacks off the arms the shots were given in.

The US moves a bunch of villagers to a safe, fortified village, and the VC comes along and shells the fuck out of it killing most of the people. Hell win the hearts and minds? If they were stupid enough to let the US 'help' them, the VC made em pay for it.

How quick are you going to accept help knowing that in a few days those nice Americans are going to be gone and the VC are going to come back and fuck your life to hell and gone?

The only way to win a war in that situation is to be meaner and more cruel than the enemy. Instead of taking prisoners and trying to win them over with kindness and compassion, you take your prisoners, get the information you can and then find some way to make their slow death so horrible that the enemy would rather cut their balls off than be caught.

You find a village supporting the guerilla fighters, then do something so inhumane that they would rather keep you happy than the enemy.

You know why ISIS is still fighting, or any radicalized Muslim extremist?

Simple they know if they get captured, they are going to a nice (sarcasm) prison and at worse they get a humane execution.

Fuck that.

Bring back some of the things the American Indians did to captured US Army troops, like slow roasting them over a fire, staking them out face down over an ant hill. Things that will make it clear that when we kill captured terrorists, they are going to die in the most slow, drawn out, inhumane way imaginable. Do it in a way that they will disavow Allah and Islam just so they will get a merciful fast death.

The Jesuits did it during the Inquisition, 'heretics' confessed to sins they never committed just to die fast and end the torture.

Fuck this 'civilized' warfare, fuck the rules of war. We want to beat the terrorists, make it known that we are going to do things to your people we capture that make being beheaded or tortured on video look like a trip to the beach and a picnic.

Bring back the bouncing betty mines, not the ones that bounce up and kill you, but the ones designed to castrate men and leave them alive. How many of those ISIS fighters be willing to fight if they knew that there was a chance they could get their balls blown off and live to NOT father children?

We kill em in battle, dont let some local Imam bury their dead, burn the bodies. It is a dishonor to the dead in Islam.

There are ways to dishonor a Muslim man that will give him a sure ticket to hell, castration is one, torture him to madness is another, have him recant his faith is the ultimate unforgivable sin.

Read the fucking history of the fucking war you moron!

Hell the Soviets learned the same damn lesson in Afghanistan.

Rattlesnakes are protected here and we coexist peacefully with bears, coyotes and mountain lions. The difference between the Northeast where I live and Texas where Jeff is, is abundant water. Because we have all this water, we have lots of mice and rabbits for predator animals to live on. As a result, there's no conflict around here usually.

I exempt fishers from that. If they get into your chicken coop, they'll kill everything in a frenzy. Even raccoons don't do that, they just take one for dinner.

Yea but if British old school doors are only 5'6 and Vikings are 5'8. They are still smaller than Vikings.

And according to Vietnam, they won because they could squeeze into tunnels for 4'11 people where 6ft Americans couldn't get to them. And could pop up for many surprise attacks that all their pint size 4ft women have managed to kill many big American soldiers.

There is US version of Vietnam war. And the Vietnam Version.

As with every war.

Two opposing stories always.

As for the doors, not necessarily.

And the over all height range was 5'4 to 5'8, with the 5'8 the rarity.

The size of the tunnels had nothing to do with it, and if you think all American service men are 6 foot tall, you are indeed dumb.

And you obviously never heard of the US Army tunnel rats. suggest you attempt to google the term.
